This place is paradise, pure and simple! The property is gorgeous, the service is beyond excellent, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. I only gave the beach 4/5 palms because it is not a beach where you can swim. The waves are pretty rough and there is a danger of riptides. However, the hotel has several nice pools all around the property. There is even one right on the beach with a swim-up bar! Bottom line: you want paradise? You get it here!
I wanted a relaxing getaway in a safe and beautiful location and I got that and so much more. I loved everything about this resort. The decor was crisp and clean but not overdone elegance. The rooms were lovely with a great view of the the pool and the Sea of Cortez. The staff was truly amazing. I was only there for 4 nights and still I knew at least that many people by name who were willing to go out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The food here is amazing. I eat a lot of junk food and all the food here is so fresh and delicious and amazingly healthy. If it were not for all the drinking I did, I probably would have come back a few pounds lighter. But the food was so good I would definitely recommend the all-inclusive option. The spa was wonderful - highly recommend the hot stone massage. Mani/Pedi - not so much. But the beach is pristine and everyone there was saying the same thing I am. It was a truly lovely vacation. Not great for kids, but wonderful for anyone who would like a beautiful getaway!
very romantic, the staff was unbelievably helpful and tended to our every need!!! totally open registration, absolutely gorgeous, clean, quiet, nice courtyard.!
We had been to the Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita in the past and loved it. It was the reason we booked the same hotel for Los Cabos. We were concerned to learn that Dreams had bought out the Zoetry hotels, but only found a few differences. Smoking - smoking at Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita was not noticed. However, at Zoetry Casa del Mar Los Cabos, people were allowed to smoke anywhere outside, including balconies. We had smokers in the room next to us and were unable to open our doors due to the odor. Luckily, they left after our second night and we were able to open our doors and listen to the surf. Zoetry Casa del Mar Los Cabos is much larger and spread out compared to Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita. Casa del Mar is actively builidng condos and construction was going on during our stay. You are allowed to go to Dreams for food and facility use, but after one visit, we did not return. Dreams is loud, crowded and our experience at the buffet, was horrible. We sat and watched marathon weddings taking place on the beach with lots of alcohol being consumed by the wedding parties. Zoetry's food was absolutely wonderful - healthy. The staff was always accomodating. They seemed to enjoy their jobs verses the folks at Dreams who were frowning and rushed. Zoetry is top notch without being uptight or stuffy. Go!
I found Casa Del Mar to be very relaxing. It's a small complex with nice size rooms (not that we spent much time there). The beds were very very soft. Almost to soft. There isn't much to do at this facility except lay around by the pool and enjoy the wonderful drinks. You can also order food right at the pool. There are 2 pools. One close to the hotel and one on the beach. The one on the beach is adults only. I was so happy to find that they held to this rule. When I'm on vacation I really have no desire to be near children. There is actually some activities like yoga, cooking classes, and alcohol tasting classes. The food was very good. No buffet here. Everything is ala cart. I really loved the ceviche. You can have dinner on the beach or eat up at the restaurant. It was all lovely either way. The service could sometimes be a little slow at the pool and a few times they forgot our order but other than that it was ok. Cruz was my server in the main restaurant he was the best. He remembered my name and every morning when he saw me he ordered by cappuccino. If your looking for a relaxing vacation and aren't planning on going in to town a lot this could be the place for you
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the room,, the food, the view and the service! We have already decided we will return annually to this resort. He has never been a fan of Mexico but this is an area and a resort like no other. The small number of rooms available added to our privacy. We loved every detail of our vacation. We will definately recommend!
