My boyfriend and I usually go to Sandals Resorts but we wanted to experience something different so I discovered the Cheap Carribean website and started looking at different hotels. We were extremely suprised and satisfied with Cheap Carribean as soon as we got off the plane. We located the Cheap Carribean shuttle easily and were taken immediately to the resort. Our first impressions of the hotel were just phenomenal. Everything is clean and beautiful, it is like pulling into paradise. We were treated like royalty as soon as we stepped into line to check in. Our room was very clean and comfortable, I have to say it was the best room I have ever stayed in. The resort is very large and everything is a walk but it is enjoyable because the scenery is breathtaking. The pool is awesome, it is huge, it has a few swim up bars and a lot of chairs so you do not have to get there early to get a spot like you do at other hotels. There is also a smaller pool which has a volleyball net, games were going on constantly which was a lot of fun. The sand at the beach was a little rocky but the water looked beautiful and it was still a nice place to just relax. You must try all the restaurants!!! They were all delicious and I have to say I am a very picky eater. The French restaurant had the best food I had ever eaten. The sports bar was really nice to just have a couple drinks and smoke cigars. We met a couple of people at dinner one night (at the Japense restaraunt Hibachi table) and we all went there for drinks. The bar is beautifully decorated and it was nice to have a place like this on the resort. I noticed that at a lot of resorts they do not offer places like this so it was a very pleasant experience. At night by the lobby they had a DJ, it turned into a outdoor club which was really fun and they were playing great music, another night they had a casino night. Their literally is something for everyone. I had a massage at the spa which was really great and the spa is one of the nicest I have been too. Every single staff member was beyond accomodating and really just made this resort the only place I would ever go. We had such an enjoyable stay that we do not even consider any other hotel when booking our vacation.

This was our first time using Cheap Carrabian and I was very worried about using an internet site. But after reading alot of reviews I went ahead and planned our trip. The price was right and we have never been, so we wanted to make this trip special. I did call them because I had several questions, from the moment the sales person answered the phones all my questions and fears were addressed. I also contacted The Valentin also with a few questions by email and they answered my questions fast. When we arrived there, we were greeted like royalty, with champane and a welocme from every one, they took our bags and delivered them to our room, got us more drinks and took us to the rooms. From that moment on, it was like a dream come true. The Valentine was wonderful and every one there was very friendly, they had a smile on there faces every minute of every day we were there. The pools were great and the beach was very clean. The food was Awsome! and we tried it all. Our room was cleaned and fridge filled every night. They had lots of entertainment. My sister and her husband also went and were very surprise on how beautiful and wonderful our trip was.From the minute we hit the ground it was great. We are already planning our next trip, we will be using Cheap Carrabian and will be staying at the Valentine, Why change when you love something already... and we love it.

This is a five star hotel. the food was great. the service was all was good. aroud the pool was great. sometimes a little slow for dinner.but you are on vacation. rooms was the best with everthig you need and what you needed the maid was happy to get for you.

We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon. I have never had better service at a resort. Everyone was very helpful and accomodating. The food options and quality were excellent. The resort was clean and relaxing for a couple. I have highly recommended this resort to my friends and family and hope to return in the future.

My husband and I vacationed at the Valentin in 2009. We had an amazing trip with delicious food! The service was excellent! We spent almost all of our time on the beach which was beautiful. It was a relaxing and beautiful place from the moment we arrived until we left!

The Food and drinks were really good. Nice rooms too but the pool was hot and dirty. It seemed like was not filled up as far as it should have been and not maintained like it should have been but the overall experience was alot of fun. We had a great time.

From the minute we got to the resort everything was perfect. The champagne that was served while checking in. The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent! We only wish they had other locations. But we will be back for sure!

Our room was amazing! We loved this resort. The food was great! We loved the japanese resurant! Even the buffet lunch was to die for! The layout of the resort is very pleasing. You feel like you are on a secluded island and even with the resort at capacity we never felt crowded. It was the best resort for the value I have ever been to! I am a frequent and very picky traveler!

After looking through hundreds of reviews, we decided on Valentin Imperial Maya as our vacation spot. We got a very good price through Cheap Carribbean and we liked that it was adults only. Positives-The room was very nice and kept very clean, dining choices were good and really enjoyed the fresh shrimp cooked up everyday at the buffet, very peaceful and relaxing, nice pool area. Cons-not a ton of activities going on and shows werent all that impressive, hard to find cabanas at the beach, drinks seemed very weak. Overall, had a great time at Imperial and would recommend to any couple on a budget.

Last October I visited the Valentin Imperial with four friends for a girls getaway. We had a fantastic time, although we appeared to be the only guests not on a honeymoon. Rooms were quite nice, and we enjoyed the pool area. The resort grounds were well maintained but the beach itself was rather small. We were pretty frustrated by practice of many resort guests as they would place towels on the beach chairs and pool chairs in the morning, and then they would remain vacant all day. I think the Resort should have a policy against this.
