The hotel was a bit dated in the decor. The room was comfortable but not vacation worthy by any stretch. First the good. The room was equipped with a stove, fridge and sink for cooking our own meals since my wife and I were getting up before the kitchen opened at 7:00am. Our ride to the Dive boat came at 7:30 am some mornings. What was forgotten... the room did not come with dish soap to do our dishes nor a dish towel in the kitchen area. Additionally the one small sharp knife had a handle that was cracked and after 2 days was finally replaced. Bugs, Bugs, Bugs On our first morning after arrival we found a centipede in the bathroom. When I called down to the hostess she said, we will get someone to look into it when the gardener arrives. After about 30 mins I was able to use a dive mask to catch it and send it to a sewage treatment plant. The next day we had bees in the room when I turned on the AC. I let management know... and the bees were found in the room on multiple days. Finally after a week a bee crew came and removed a hive above the A/C. The worst part of this trip was not the bugs or room condition, but how the hotel treated my wife. I had arranged to have a my wife have a diving tune up course from one of the Dive operators signs in the hotel lobby, he came to give the course and ultimately made a safety decision that the ocean waves were too big to do the course in the beach by the hotel( I respect the Dive masters decision to be safe). The Dive-master(DM) asked to use the hotel pool to give the course and was refused, by several management levels. The DM called around to other hotels even but unless we drove to the other side of the island none were available. The hotel manager did not even personally apologize for bringing my wife to tears. This fiasco cost me a day of vacation. The hotel should warn potential guests that diving courses are not allowed in the pool.
The layout is backwards from anything that would make any sense. Small dirty rocky beach is only big enough to stick your feet in... if you dare.... The place smells bad and is full of bugs.....!!! Go to the Mattiott up the road for less...
this hotel with very bad beach,on weekends locals crowds the beach and it's so noisy, would not recommend at all, stuff is unhappy, place is small and run down.
During out time at St. Kitts our son became very sick. . We encountered the owner of Timothy Beach Resort. He offered to take our son to the hospital, but we didn't think that was necessary. Instead he led us to the local store where a pharmacist was. He prescribed a medication which worked wonderfully. We want to thank him and the resort in making our vacation a wonderful one! The care shown us was outstanding!
Our planes were delayed and it was dark by the time we got to the hotel We paid extra for a beach side room the took us up steep hills and stairs including a steep spiral staircase it was a nice room with large balcony I immediately called the desk to get a downstairs room They changed us to that but we still had to climb stairs to get to it As the property is built on hillside the people were friendly food good in restaurant but limited
