Smugglers Cove Resort and Spa Reviews

This resort was absolutley gorgeous. We upgraded to a ocean front room and for very little extra we had a beautiful room about 25 yards from the ocean. Couldn't have been better. The resort itself is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The flowers and gardens just amazing. Pools were great, food was good and service great. I will plan to go back for sure.

Great trip... Great pools... black sand beach.. many activities.. food was good and a wide variety.. would not recommend waterside restaurant but the rest were great. Rooms were in bright carribean colored condos.. very cute.. Our room for 2 had a king sized bed and full sized bed.

My 2 friends and I just came back from a week at Almond Smugglers Cove.We had a wonderful time. The food was wonderful,the shows were great! They were great in helping us book outside trips and getting us a a taxi to do something spur of the moment. We had a great Chick-cation! They even packed us a picnic lunch to take with one day!

We alway had a clean room, The beach and comfort for sun was to both of our needs. One was in need for the sun and the other shade. We always injoyed very good food. The intertainment was very will presented every night. The availablty of all the water activity where great. This would be of interest to make a return visit.

Well, this was our first vacation in the Caribbeans and we had a very good time. The resort was nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpul. Pools were clean. Food was very good, restaurant style. I recomend this resort to other people, it was well worth the money I spent. If you go, try the horseback ride. My 3 yr old son loved it, as my wife and I did. Its not offered by the resort but the sign is right at the edge of the beach.

It was a great value for a family vacation. Best food was the beach barbeque and the other meal that was similar in style. Small beach but lovely rooms.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is really good as well, the staff is nice and always ready to help. The major negative point is the lack of organized activities during the day and specially there is no night activities, so if you are not with a big and fun group you get bored!!!

I enjoyed the staff they were friendly and very attentive to all of our needs. The only thing I was not crazy about was the location of the room, which was located on top of a hill far away from the activities. Also, the grounds were very confusing to get around, we must have gotten lost several times and others complained about the layout as well. Other than that, the grounds and the plant life were absoloutly beautiful. My companion and myself are already looking into taking another Cheapcaribbean excursion already. She really enjoyed it as much as I did and has been asking when are we leaving since we've returned. Oh very important, men are required to wear pants for dinner. No shorts are allowed, I was not aware of this however, I always pack trousers and jeans just in case. You may want to pass this along to your other clients going to this resort.

1st time using Cheap Caribbean. Very good price for an all-inclusive in St. Lucia (quite a few hundred dollars per person cheaper than other companies I have used!). Everything CC was in charge of went fine. Flights: long travel days, wish there was a direct flight Transfer: went fine and scenic, but long (almost 2 hours!) St. Lucia: pretty, people very nice Smugglers: trying to upgrade overall. Hotel rooms need work and be sure not to get one in no mans land - all single story so spread out (had a room change due to this and new location made a huge difference!), Grounds lovely, cove/beach pretty (but small), restaurants smallish but good (be sure to make your reservations), service very good for the most part (although reception and room change a hassle) and St. Lucians very wonderful people here. Entertainment low end but they continue to work at it. A for effort but gets a C now. Resort is low key, low rise and laid back. Go to relax, take advantage of the Cheap Caribbean price and enjoy! Recommend the day catamaran tour/sulfur springs-drive in volcanoe, botanical garden/waterfal, lunch, snorkel and transfers for approx. $110 per person to get a flavor of the island.

Just returned from smugglers cove,we had a nice vacation. The ride from the airport was awful very long and could make you car sick.We ended up doing the helicopter ride back to the airport, well worth the money.Our room was very nice ,they gave us an up grade.The food was o.k, our favorate restarant was the Italian.The beach was very rocky and small, we did not swim in the ocean there, on a scale of 1-10 the beach would be a 3.We hung out at the pools.Over all we had a good time , but we would try a different a location.
