Great Resort and Location and Best Value

Very nice beach resort! The best value and beach on the island with easy access to buses, the best way to get around. Free kayak, paddle boats and snorkling. Easy access to Jet Skis. Poolside entertainment is great.

Great value for your money!

My friend and I were both really stressed out and really needed a vacation. Saw this deal and booked it in 5 minutes without even doing any research. Hotel was clean and service was good. When you check in the hotel lets you know what the daily tax rate is and it is very reasonable. There were plenty of pools so didn't have any problem finding a chair by the pool. Hotel hosted events throughout the day and kept the guests by the pool entertained. The whole trip was a great value and I didn't even need to do any research or much planning!

Our stay at the Sheraton Cable Beach

We can definitely recommend staying here. This is a very nice hotel with a great beach and it was clean. We enjoyed the breakfasts and the other restaurants on site. It is very close to downtown Nassau and you can reach the downtown by jitney for only about $1.25 each way. There is a drugstore and other small shops that are a 5-10 minute walk. You also have access to the Wyndham next door. We will never forget our trip to the Bahama's and would certainly return to the Sheraton.

Great Vacation!

My wife and I got married in Nassau. The hotel was beautiful! The entire staff was so helpful and friendly! All in all, this was one of our favorite destinations to date. We plan on returning for our anniversary!

Great trip

Enjoyed the trip. Great atmosphere, staff, and people. Food was expensive, but to be expected. Nice to be able to change acenery and go to sister resorts, but Sheraton was the best. November was great time to go - very few people - so beaches and pools were almost empty. Would absolutely go back!

Ok, but out of the way

Fairly nice hotel but a bit far from downtown. Wasn't very occupied when I was there in late Sept. Ate at the more casual on-site restaurants a couple of times and it wasn't notable. If you go out to the swim-up pool bar watch your belongings closely. My cell phone was taken there and the thief made many international calls on it before I could get it deactivated. Beware of an itinerate cigar hawker (selling "cubans" with fake label rings) that hangs out at the pool bar and is/was a relative of one of the bar tenders.

simply awesome

The sheraton at cable beach was absolutely beautiful!!! I have never seen such clean crystal clear pools and they we never crowded. This is a very quiet resort with not a lot of people. however if you like the party thing it is right next door...best of both worlds. The rooms were clean and just average. We had a very long walk to the elevators. We didn't mind but someone who couldnt get around well would have a problem. The beach was very nice. The only negative comment I have is the price of food and and it really was expensive. I mean 7.50 for a can of beer....now thats crazy and next door at the wyndam they were 5.50. both hotels are owned by the same company.....other then that I would come back it is a beautiful place....I loved it!!!

Very romantic, loved it.

The hotel it self was amazing. The beaches, beautiful, and in the middle of may almost deserted. However, the dining options were minimal to non existent. All of the establishments were on paradise island, a $40 round trip taxi fair. The italian resturant inside the hotel had excellent food, but high prices. The buffet was very over priced for the the food selections that were available. There was a steak resturant in the neighboring wyndham hotel that was very good. However, when one resturant was open, the other closed. We resorted to walking to the local grocery store about a mile away to get snacks and drinks. Other wise we ate a a subway, sbarro pizza, and a neghboring italian bistro. Finding island food was impossible.

GREAT TIME

Went for a little R&R. It was relaxing and the people could not have been nicer or more helpful. Ate at restaurants in both the Sheriton and Chrystal Palace. The Italian and Chinese were delicious. Having the breakfast included in our price was very convieniet, and the food was delicious & plentiful. Anything from a full breakfast to toast, bagles, muffins and fruit. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning for a little break from winter this year.
