WE HAVE PREVIOUSLY STAYED AT ANOTHER ALL INCLUSIVE .WE KNEW THIS RESORT WAS NEW AND MIGHT EXPERIENCE SOME PROBLEMS. WE WERE PLEASANTLY SUPRISED OUR STAY WAS BETTER THEN WE EXPECTED AND IM SURE THE RESORT WILL ONLY GET BETTER WITH TIME.WE WILL DEFINATELY RETURN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO FRIENDS.

WOW! What a place...wake up every morning to a view that could be on a post card. We were very fortunate to have seven days of perfect weather and we enjoyed every single day on the resort. The staff is very friendly and the dining was awesome - we really enjoyed the experience of adults only...it's the only way to go if you desire the perfect vacation. The only draw back my wife and I experienced was the room service - very slow...the reason may have been our distance from the food and beverage service. Overall I highly recommend the Secrets St. James - we will hopefully return in the near future.

The only thing that made this less that perfect were that everything in the resort was not quite finished yet. It certainly did not make a huge difference, especially at the price we paid. I am sure when it's all complete this will be a highly sought after vacation place.

We went the last week of March, 4 days after the place opened fully to the public. There were many things that were not ready. We had an all-inclusive option and with that, we did not really get a good deal. Most of the restaurants were not open fully and out of 5 or 7, there were only 2 open at each sitting. Service was great, but there were a lot of kinks to work out.

Spent a week at Wild Orchids and loved it. The service was great and the staff very friendly and have amazing memories. One Hibachi cook remembered that he had waited on us the 2 previous years at another resort and changed this year (so we didn't want to go back). Great shows and fantastic steel drum band.

Good food, good service, nice beach, very fancy, lots of sun, we enjoyed our trip but did like the Couples Resort better.

I recently surprised my husband with a trip to Secret's St. James for our 10 year anniversary. He was very hesitant but went anyway. By the second day he was praising the resort and said he would love to come back again. It was our first time away from our children and the resort staff and offerings made our trip so great that we had an easier time than expected being away from the kids. Service was excellent as was the food! Many extra touches that made it a luxurious experience. Would recommend to anyone and would go back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I stayed at the Secrets St. James Montego Bay for our 20th Anniversary. Our room was beautiful and had an amazing view of the Caribbean and pool area. We definitely enjoyed that the entire resort was all-inclusive (so no wristbands) and the adults-only atmosphere. The positives of the resort well outweighed the negatives. We had some problems with the air conditioning a couple of days as well as the only outlet in the bathroom did not work plus our safe had a low battery issue. We had to ask for those items to be fixed a number of times before they were - and we never did have a working outlet in the bathroom. Now, for the positives - the pools were well kept up, there was a lot of variety in the restaurants, (the breakfast bar is unmatched!), the beaches, although a little small, were beautiful, there were lots of fun free activities - volleyball - on the beach and in the pool, water aerobics, sunrise and sunset yoga on the beach, kayaking, sailing, dancing lessons, snorkeling... We also participated in some additional (for fee) activities - parasailing, waterskiing, Dunns River Falls/Ochos Rios excursion...Those were amazing. The spa is wonderful and we highly recommend the couples massage/hydrotherapy session! Started off the week with a complimentary anniversary champagne breakfast and the food and drink did not stop there. Incredible resort - incredible week!

My wife and I spent one of the best weeks of our life at Secrets St. James. Everything was fantastic. I see many reviews where people are nitpicking to find flaws. Sure, everything wasn't perfect but the overall experience was incredible. The food was very good and the service was incredible. The pools, beach and other common areas were excellent. We got a couples Swedish massage at the spa and I highly recommend it for anyone who will be visiting. Booking through CheapCaribbean.com was easy and the resort credits we received were put to good use. We will definitely go back to Secrets St. James and book it through Cheap Caribbean.

My husband and I stood in St James Preferd Club. This place was everything it looks to be... Nice and clean, room service was great and fast. The pool was clean daily, the bars were open all day and if you couldn't get your drink there was a server always making sure you had one..In the morning, we had a breakfast bar at the lodge for quick coffee and then we walk to the restaurant where the breakfast was incredible, anything you wanted was there. They have a Spa, gym and a casino (someone won $5,900) . The shows at night were fun..there is no need to leave this resort for any reason, everything you need is there! St. James will be my vacation spot every year..No other resort can TOP THIS ONE! Go and enjoy the people are great... Don't forget to watch the sunset it's Awesome!!!..
