We stayed 10 days, and had a wonderful experience all around. We have stayed several places around the carribean, but the people were by far the best. I went mainly for the diving, awesome dive team, just a bunch of great guys, dove every day twice a day, big reefs with some good walls, but few fish, the place is really overfished, and there are cages all along the ocean floor, catching anything and everything. The Dive Team was by far the most professional i've seen, they are strick and require proper certification. Short dive times, were some times a bummer, all and all good times. The food was excellent all around from the grill on the beach, to the nightly ones, with no reservations. Great Food Hardly any beach at all, no place to swim, but very beautiful, the guys at the resort made our trip great. BE NICE TO THE STAFF AND TELL BE NICE TO YOU, A SIMPLE PLEASE AND THANKS GOS ALONG WAY!
Words can not describe what a wonderful time I had at Sandals! The service was wonderful and the people were so nice. The food was very good and there were so many options to choose from. The only reason I did not give the beach and pools a higher rating is because the beach at the Carlyle is really not tourist friendly. There is a road that seperates it from the hotel and there are no water sports for purchase there. The pool is very small and not very exciting. However, when you stay at the Carlyle, you have access to the other two Sandals locations in Montego Bay where you can enjoy all of the same amenities as you do at the Carlyle. The beaches and pools at the other locations are breathtaking. The hotel even provides transportation to the other locations for free every 30 min. It was very nice to be able to venture out and experience all that Sandals has to offer. I would definitely go back!
