Beautiful resort with awesome staff

We fully enjoyed our stay and everything the resort offers: - Beautiful rooms that are all ocean view - Diamond club which is a nice option when you want a drink or snack - Butler service, we had Bernadine and she was wonderful. Very attentive and a lovely lady to get to know - Choices of the restaurants, We ate at 3 of them and Zen was our favorite - Overall staff, friendly and they seemed to enjoy to getting to know you - Having no keys, the bracelet was a nice touch - It was the right size, and nice to have the options at White Sands - Love the island Things I would change, although they were not an issue, just more personal preference: - Have an adult pool at Blue Waters, there is one at White Sands, which was enjoyable - Be consistent in what is offered for liquor, and when it runs out replenish

Too new for full price resort cost

We had high hopes for this resort, but were very disappointed. Paid extra for diamond club, they don't even know what this means. Anyone could use beach, pools, bar. Only saw our butler once on check in, had to call for restock of fridge every day. No towels in room on checkin, somedays no coffee restock. Little details are important to us. Daily power outages, last time was over an hour and no water during power outage. Went to spa and got locked in changing room, they had to break door to get me out. No night life unless you go out of resort and taxis are super expensive, $20 for 5 minute ride is ridiculous. Staff doesnt know everything about resort, wanted to eat at seafood restaurant but was told diff stories, some said we could because we were diamond club, others said no it was only for other resort next door...they finally did accommodate us and let us eat there, but it was like begging. If you want people to test out your resort, don't charge full prices, we felt like guinea pigs and we paid too much for this resort, we will never go to another Royalton property. Only good part was beaches, absolutely beautiful.

Great property

We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this property. Facilities are new with great pools, nice beach, and everything as advertised. Great variety of choices for restaurants and bars with all quality items. Staff was very friendly and generally very good service within our expectations for the Caribbean which tends to move a little slower than up North. Rooms are great- spacious and comfortable. Still working out a few minor glitches from being a new property (a few minor power outages, elevators, etc.) but nothing significant. We walked by several other nearby properties on the beach and this was by far the nicest. Only real negative is effort to get you to attend sales pitch for timeshare - pass on this and you will have a great time.

BEAUTIFUL Resort

The resort is absolutely stunning from the moment you enter the lobby. It is huge. We stayed in building 1, which was diamond club. With diamond club, we had access to a bigger section of the beach, an extra pool, the diamond club grill, and butler service. The beach was beautiful. The water was perfect. The pools looked really nice, but we stayed at the beach the entire time. There were many options for free water sports: kayaks, catamarans, paddle boards. Snorkel gear was also free to rent for an hour. Snorkeling in the water around the resort was excellent as well. Drinks were plentiful, and delicious at all bars. We had no difficulty getting into the restaurants. We only had to wait one night, and they gave us a buzzer so we didn't have to sit and wait. We went at various times from 6:00-8:00 each night. Breakfast was only offered at one restaurant, but room-service was available 24 hours a day. I only had two complaints from the trip. When we booked, we were supposed to get $300 in resort credits. This money was designated toward room upgrades, spa services, and bottles of wine. The only one I was interested in was the spa. When we checked in, they did not give us the vouchers. The next day, I went to the diamond club lobby to ask about them. I was told someone was on their way. I waited 20 minutes and no one came. I told them I would come back the next day to pick them up. The next morning they were still not there. I came back around lunch to check, and they were still not there. I came back around dinner, and was told that they had been there, but that I had to sign them, and they couldn't find me (We were on the beach). I told them I would wait if they would bring them then. I waited 45 minutes. I finally told them I was going to my room and asked for them to call me when they were in the lobby. No one called the room. After we got ready for dinner, I went back to the lobby and was told that they had come to my room and no one answered, which was impossible. I was in there the entire time, and even when I was showering, I asked my husband to listen for them. I finally decided it wasn't worth wasting any more of my time trying to get the vouchers, so I didn't ask for them again. Another complaint regards the butlers. We met our butlers upon arrival. They slipped an anniversary card under the door the first morning. They brought a tray of desserts and a bottle of wine the second night. The third night we had to move rooms due to an air conditioner problem. One of our butlers helped us move rooms. After we moved rooms, we did not see either of our butlers the remainder of the trip. This was very disappointing. I'm not sure why they didn't come back around. We tipped any time they helped with anything. We planned to leave a tip at the end, but since they didn't do anything else, we didn't leave another tip. Neither of these complaints would keep me from visiting again. The resort was still amazing, and I can't wait to plan another trip back!
