Worst Caribbean trip ever!!

The hotel is gorgeous; pictures and in person. Everything is new and there are tons of staff everywhere. That's where this illusion ends. There was no hot water my entire stay. After several phone calls no one seemed to care that we were without water. The power kept shutting off (not for long periods of time, 30 seconds at a time). The restaurants were always booked; they seemed great and I wish we could have tried them all. The pools are not heated so the water was icy. The bartenders so for tips (which I don't mind as it is customary) but the people who tipped the most received better service while I was ignored. I was really looking forward to using my credits that I received for booking ($150 for the spa, room upgrade and wine). I wasn't allowed to use ANY of them due to random rules they made up. I am so disappointed in this stay. All the amazing features I booked this resort for didn't pan out. No spa, no restaurants, 2 hour wait time for room service, a dirty beach area and lack luster service.

Ok

For this hotel to only be 3 months old it is not well kept or maintain. It is obvious that the finishes are cheap and therefore it looks like it needs to be replace already. They do not have a dress code as ppl were eating in the buffet area almost nude with thongs on ridiculous. I do not want but juices on a chair that I may have to seat on and kids were just starring. The sports bar area smelled as if it needs to be cleaned it smelled like sour milk the 5 days I was there. NOW THE MOSQUITOES IN THE LOBBY RESTAURANTS AND ROOMS ARE UNREAL AND THEY NEED TO HAVE MOSQUITO TRAPS AS NO OTHER HOTEL IN MONTEGO HAS AN INFESTATION OF MOSQUITOES. I can't excuse slow service to new hotel as they have a hotel directly next to it so that is no excuse and there is no excuse for no hot water and water smelling like gas and fingernail polish. This hotel does too much trying to sell time share and this was a complete turn off and they were very pushy. I would not return personal Secrets and Breathless is in a different caliber then this hotel it is mediocre. Sorry being honest, the food was not bad though.

Royalton Blue Waters

The hotel was beautiful, but house keeping was slow. We ran out of towels daily and had to call house service for more. The food was ok, nothing to great. Overall my stay was the best. I would visit again.
