Beautiful -- There is a reason It is Called a Palace. Staff is most gracious when you need whatever, scenery is fantastic, beach is lovely, super clean in all regards. Tour of kitchen facilities was a real delight and a real highlight, everone remarked how great it was to see behind the scenes how all food is prepared and the cleanliness was really impressive. Went back to Pacfico twice more - thats how impressed we were !!!!
This fall, we will stay at Pacifico for the third time. Our first stay was just 6 weeks after it opened. The staff is very attentive, professional, caring and desirous of assuring that you have a wonderful, memorable vacation. The food at Krystal is better than many restaurants here in the US. We enjoy being pampered. The staff remembers us each time we return (if they don't remember us, they do an excellent job of making us feel like they do). Darcy, Alfredo, Monika and the list goes on and on are wonderful!
I would definitely give the Riu Palace Pacifico an outstanding rating. The food could have been a little better, but there was always a good variety. The employees were always very friendly and helpful. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and the location unbeatable. Puerto Vallara is now my favorite Mexican vacation spot. The only negative I have regarding the hotel was that the rooms smelled "musty". Unfortunately, we took this "smell" home. The hotel was notified and hopefully it has been rectified. All in all, I would love to return.
Riu Palace was beautiful everyone was friendly and the service was great.I recommend the resort.
My boyfriend and I went for a relaxing vacation, and that's what we did. Hung out at the swim up bar, ate alot of food, and met awesome people!
We loved the Palace and would definitely not hesitate to return. The food, drinks, resort appearance, and staff were fabulous. My biggest complaint with the resort would have to be that everything closes down at midnight and there is no nearby nightlife. I was also disappointed with the quality of the sheets and towels. These are just a few little things to keep in mind--but again, we had a wonderful time and hope to return again someday soon.
From the minute the Cheap Carribean Gentleman greeted us at the airport to the minute we were deposited back there one week later, we were totally in heaven. The Riu Palace Pacifico is a magnificent building and there has been superb care taken to every bit of detail...from the decor to the services. The staff are welcoming and friendly and that starts at the front desk when you check in, continues in the dining rooms, the hallways, the pool, the beach....every one is smiling and all say hallo and want to know if they can help. The food is great, the selection is excellent and the presentation is lovely. All in all, a palace worthy of its name.
My wife and I chose this for our honeymoon destination. Upon arrival we were greeted by professional staff and wonderful drinks. We notified them in advanced that it was our honeymoon. Although they weren't able to upgrade our rooms because of full occupancy, they made sure to check our rooms twice a day and refill our mini refrigerator once daily. The second night of our stay we received chocolate covered strawberries and assorted fruit courtesy the kitchen. Overall, the staff was extraordinary. We were waited on hand and foot. The food was delectable. Every meal was a luxurious feast. I would recommend this hotel to any couple wanting to get away for awhile.
This was our best vacation ever, we had such a relaxing and great time we would most definately go back!
This is a really nice resort. The rooms were smaller than others we have stayed in, but they were very nice. The pool and beach areas are outstanding, as was the service provided by the staff. The food at the buffet was very good with a lot of variety. The other resturants had limited menus as did room service. The weather was outstanding.
