My friends and I had a great stay at the Radisson Aquatica. Upon arrival, one of the greeters offered us complimentary rum punch (which is always a wonderful way to be greeted!). Our rooms were clean, spacious enough and had a balcony w/ partial ocean view. The only two room drawbacks were no refrigerator and I found that the beds were a bit too firm. Because I'm a vegetarian, I would have liked to have more diversity on the breakfast buffet. But, overall, it's a wonderful resort and the staff is very accommodating. The pools, the beach area and the location are ideal.
My friend and I had a fantastic experience here! The hotel itself it beautiful, we had a beachfront room which was very comfortable, all the staff was very accommodating and professional. They even booked excursions for us when we asked about things to do in the area (The Harrison Caves tour was really fun). The beach is gorgeous and clean, there are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The water and the sand was perfect, the waves got pretty wild for a few days but still swimmable. The Neptune Grill for lunch had great drinks and the food was very good, but it was all a little expensive (same with dining at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner). We were an easy 10 minute bus ride to the St. Lawrence Gap that has lots of dining and nightlife options (Dover Beach is also a must see over there). We walked down the beach from the hotel to other beach bars that had live music and small places to eat out. It was generally very quiet, great for families or couples. I would highly recommend this place if your a first timer to Barbados.
The staff at the Radisson was the best I have ever experienced on any of the islands. The beach was beautiful and clean, lots to do. Only complaint was the food at the motel, it was high for the quality/slection. But there were so many option within walking distance, that was not a real downfall. This is where i want to retire, absolutely loved this island and the people.
Excellent hotel 5 stars all the way. The staff is professionals, very friendly and helpful. Good customer service, room well clean and smells so good. So in love with the beach the best in Barbados. Will come back again.
All the people working at the Radisson Aquatica Resort will make you feel like you should never leave. Everyone there was very accommodating to our needs. Breakfast chief Margaret will go out of her way to make your eggs just the way you like them. The beach is out of this world and shipwrecks are very close to you, if you like snorkeling. Some of the best restaurant's in Barbados are only a short taxi ride away.
The room and beach was great. The free breakfast lasted till 1030 and would allow you to just eat another meal for the day for the cost conscious The only down side was there were no shops within walking distance and restaurants were limited
The pictures of this resort don't do it any justice. This place is awesome and the beach is literally a few steps away. The best suggestion is to change your money to Barbados dollars so you get the most bang for your buck. Dining was a little difficult in the beginning but just a short walk up the street to the main road on the left, there was a roti place, Chinese food and a breakfast spot with awesome breakfast pies. Another place you CANNOT miss when going to Barbados is Oistins, the sea food there is the best I've ever had in my life. My husband and I went for a week getaway to this resort and it was awesome. The resort customer service is some of the best I've ever had. Travel to Bridgetown is so simple we took the bus there is also taxi service. We also took a Viator tour our driver Eddie was great and there were some beautiful sites on the tour. I honestly had no complaints about this trip, resort or location. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.
