Excellent value! There were certain times to book the restaurants and it was a small window so we never got a chance to try the Italian restaurant which we were bummed about. The Mexican restaurant was wonderful! We were disappointed that there were so many sales people trying to sell us time shares or activities. We felt hounded by them every time we left the room. We would go back to this hotel, especially for the price! There were not many English channels on the TV so my husband brought our mini DVD player to hook up to the TV in the room. The showers should be renovated as the tiles were a little yucky. Also bring your own toiletries b/c they only supply the ones attached to the shower - co conditioner and no lotion in the little bottles like I had expected. Overall great vacation - except for all of the sales people!!
Buffet food tastes like going to Golden Corral every day. They limit your ability to dine in the specialty restaurants. Wifi, even if you are paying the extra charge for it, is not available in some areas of the hotel. It should be free for the price of this hotel anyway. Beach is nice, though. Pacific Ocean is better for swimming than the Atlantic Ocean. The massage was great, but I have never had a bad massage.
Second time booking with CheapCarbean.com and was not dissapointed friendly staff and great pool and beach. Food was great and something new everyday.Loved the pool entertainment too.
We really enjoyed our vacations, the staff made us to spend an unforgettable experience
My wife and I are in our late 20's no kids. The service from staff was great. if you're looking for BLUE WATER Nuevo Vallarta / Puerto Vallara is NOT for you- only blue water at water excursions. There is NO adults only pool****** only a more secluded pool if you purchase at upgrade- which I do NOT think is worth it financially. Mexican restaurant, Italian Restaurant and Buffet have good food. The food at the Japanese restaurant was... everything was good except the main course. With a party of four we got a big variety- beef, shrimp, chicken, salmon, duck- none of us were pleased with our main dish. we heard from others that the sushi was not good but didn't get to try it for ourselves. Lots of activities/entertainment available- which were all GREAT. Definitely a family resort but it was nice for us to enjoy as a couple as well. Michael Jackson show was my favorite. My biggest thing is no blue water though- and there is only one small pool. no swim up bar, but servers are always there for you to bring drinks to you pool side and on the beach. We did 7 days, 6 nights all inclusive with flights and round trip transportation from airport to resort & resort to airport for $1,700 from DC. I don't think it was worth that price AT ALL. Cheap Carribean people- i didn't care for them. *** I will let you know **** We MET a family that DID book their excursions in the airport with Paradise Village! They spent two hours at their time share presentation- declined it, and paid 1/4 the price of the excursions!!!! It is NOT a scam- we were too nervous to do it ourselves when we first arrived because the cheap carribean people tell you it's a scam & want your money for their commission to book the excursions with them. I go on vacation to other beaches to get away from the brown beaches on the east cost & this isn't the place to do it- still brown, just warmer.
Nice hotel and friendly staffs. Food was average and drinks at the bar was good.
This is our second trip to Puerto Vallarta and by far the BEST! Everyone at the hotel was helpful and any issues were addressed immediately. The facility was kept spotless and staff were all very friendly and interactive. The evening shows were vibrant and entertaining. The location of the hotel had amazing views no matter where you were. We had good meals and service at all the restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel!
