My family just returned which includes a 4,9 and 13 year old went to this resort and LOVED it! I remember being a little worried before we went to the resort because some people were writing some bad reviews. I can assure you that you have NOTHING to worry about and the people writing the negative reviews for the most part are people that will always complain no matter what. I read a review that they didn't like white people!! Furthest from the truth as my family and I are white and from the US and they (everyone) treated my family like their own. I read a complaint about them not knowing English that well- You're in THEIR country....what is wrong with you people? Their English was broken but was fine and we got through the whole week without having issues with their English. The drinks were great - they poured the drinks very strong and we had no issues here either. Point here is don't listen to these negative reviews because most of it NOT true! My family and I loved this place. The staff is amazing, food is great, my room was great and it's the cleanest resort we've stayed at. The water park is perfect for kids! It's a little ways away from the resort so you can catch a golf cart or walk. The longest we ever waited for a golf cart to pick us up was 5 minutes. This resort is NOT packed with people! We left for an excursion one day and the team questioned the man taking us and wanted to know what company they were with, who they were taking, where they were taking us and when we'd be back. This was very comforting for us and made us feel like they were looking out for us.I would recommend the following: - Swim Up Pad (a must) - Bring tip money - Make your dinner reservation for your stay upon arrival. - Bring plenty of sunblock - Ninja Turtle Breakfast (if you have a small kid who likes Ninja Turtles) This cost extra but is very much worth it. - Try an excursion! We went to Saona Island and it was AMAZING! We went through Seavis Tours. - ENJOY!! The glass is half full not half empty!! We will be back for sure!! You can't beat the service, view and value!! Next year we're bringing our extended family!
Everyone at the resort was friendly and nice! It was geared towards kids--- the food was fresh and excellent--- the beach was very wavy and rough but their pools were great
One of the best family trips we have taken. Nickelodeon Punta Cana is a beautiful, relaxing, fun, luxury property! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and the rooms are very comfortable. The beach is gorgeous and fairly private. Aqua Nick is a blast, and my kids never wanted to leave. It is also separate from the rest of the resort, so you can also escape the craziness. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent! I highly recommend the resort to anyone. One very minor complaint... while the property offers free wi-fi, it is not secure. I recommend purchasing a VPN before traveling. Other than that, I have nothing but great things to say! Enjoy!!!
Vacation well spent. Staff was great. Especially Juan and Wiliberto the bell boys. Never have I had service in a resort or hotel the way we got here. Not one employee walked by us without saying "Hola" or smiling. Anything we asked for was brought to us promptly. Never a hassle anywhere. Cleanliness throughout entire resort was impeccable. Mind you I work the hospitality industry in NYC. So I sure know what to look for. Keep up the good work guys!!
Thus place is amazing! The staff is friendly & accomodating. The rooms are comfortable & clean. It's all inclusive, alcohol too! There are many different restaurants offering different cuisines and also 24 hour room service. If you want to leave the resort, book one of the many excursions. We did Soana Island. I highly recommend it. The boat stops in the ocean & the is a shallow pool of crystal clear warm water to swim in! We can't wait to go back!

The front desk was not helpful when we first arrived b we requested two double beds per room and when we arrived they just told us we get what we get as they are "overbooked". We were shocked to hear this after traveling a long distance and paying a significant amount of money for 6 people. We were told we could get a "cot". Of course, we didn't want anyone to sleep on a cot since we paid this much money. No accommodations were made. When we got to the room the cleaning staff did bring in a twin bed for each room after we asked them to help us. This was a relief and we wish that the front desk would have offered this solution rather than making us so upset. The kids had a great time even though there wasn't really any kids activities. All they have is getting slimed at the kiddie pool and a character breakfast. We thought they would have a lot more to offer with it being a Nickelodeon resort. As a result, we scheduled 2 more excursions totaling 3 to give the kids more of a variety as they would have been bored with 7 days here and not much to do. We did have a lot of fun on the excursions. The kids enjoyed the swim up suites and beach. The room were okay with cleanliness. We are just used to a differ level of clean. We enjoyed it though. The food was ok. They just make everything different that what Americans are used to. They really cater more towards European cultures. The desserts are dense and not sweet. We have to say CheapCarribean was fantastic!!! They were there for us and very responsive when we could not get an answer for one of the excursions we scheduled at the time of booking. We will use them again for sure. Overall it was a great trip and relaxing. Although we liked it we will go see another place on another vacation.
This was the first trip to DR with children. We were attracted to the "kid friendly" concept and the fact the water park was included. My children are 3 and 7 and loved the water park, beach, kiddy splash zone and pools. They begged us to stay a few more days. My in-laws decided to join us for the trip, to spend quality time with the kids, but had their reservations going to a kid themed resort and expected nothing more than character themed chaos... but they also enjoyed themselves. Having another resort attached allowed for more options for everyone traveling with us (from the kids to the grandparents). The food was better than average (superior compared to other places we have visited in DR). The rooms were clean and we loved the size of our back patio which allowed us to still enjoy swimming and the beautiful weather while the youngest was napping. The resort was a nice size and we liked the "town center" set-up where nightly activities and restaurants were located. We were told both Nickelodeon and Sensatori were fully booked but we often walked right up to restaurants and didn't have trouble finding beach or pool chairs. The staff was very friendly, I gave 4 stars for service only due to occasional confusion with requests regarding food orders and sometimes staff was not always sure what was going on in the area they were working in. Overall we loved the experience and would book again if the price stays reasonable. If I had to make suggestions for improvement I would say staff should be more aware of happenings in the area (for instance when I showed up to the fitness center for yoga I should have been directed around the back to the (hidden) wellness platform rather than told "yeah, someone is coming" and I would have liked to see the Nick Crew do more interactive activities for the kids when we were at the water park area. I think both will occur in time since the resort is so new.
Very family friendly resort. Staff was friendly, and very eager to please. There is entertainment every night. It was a nice resort for the money.
