Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort Reviews

Really liked this property. The option of going to the different Palace properties was excellent. Palace owns so many different properties (and entertainment complexes) that they can offer very diverse packages at reasonable rates. I was very impressed. We had stayed at an IBEROSTAR Maya several years ago, and while the beach and wave pool were much better than the Moon Palace, the food and drink were not. We really enjoyed this property and will definitely be back.

Moon Palace is a great place to vacation! I went there with a group of friends and our service was great, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the resort offered a lot of fun activities. Unfortunately, the week we went the weather wasn't great, but the experience was still a good one. I would recommend Moon Palace to anyone.

The hotel met all our satifactions. I was pleasantly surprised that the bed was so confortable. The food was great with many options. We never ate at the same place twice except for breakfast. Staff was friendly but I was surprised at how much tiping peaple were doing. I thought the purpuse of all inclusive was to leave your money at home. We didn't tip much and the service was still very good. I would recommend this resort to a friend. The credit promotion that was going on for Palace resorts of $1200.00 worth of credit per room was confusing at first but well worth it once I understood it. We used the spa and the golf course with this credit and thourghly enjoyed both.

This was my second time staying at the Moon Palace. We will definitely be going a third time..and a fourth time...etc. It's the ideal place to go to "get away", but still have the conveniences of being close. The food is AWESOME with all the variety and the included tours really allow the vacation to be "all inclusive." The service is excellent and friendly too!

We stayed at the moon palace resort last month, it was a great vacation filled with great service from the staff, good food lots of drinks, parasailing & jet skiing was great, beutiful pools & awsome golf club. I strongly recommend the moon palace golf resort to everyone who wants a tranquil and family oriented place to relax and enjoy a good vacation!!!

This was our first time in Cancun, and we couldn' have been happier with our choice of resorts. The staff was outstanding! We were treated like royalty. Everyone was friendly, helpful and fantastic! The pools were amazing, however the seaweed on the beach was a little much. But despite the seaweed, we had a great time on the beach! The grounds of Moon Palace were well kept and beautiful. Our room was amazing, with a great view of the ocean. We especially loved the turn-down service in the evening. Lunches at the resort were okay, but the dinners were very good! The mexican restaurant in the Nizuc lobby was fantastic! We did not travel with our children, but we would love to come back and bring the kids as there were many children's activities and the children's pool was very nice. We had a fantastic vacation! We would love to visit again!!!

We love the Moon Palace! This was our 10 year anniversary trip and we absolutely had a blast! We hope to go back and take our kids some time in the near future! We definitely recommend it, just watch out for the time share sales!

MY HUSBAND AND I JUST RETURNED FROM OUR TRIP FROM THE MOON PALACE IN CANCUN. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN, BUT THE BEDS WERE A LITTLE HARD! THE FACILITY ITSELF IS VERY LARGE SO THERE ARE FEW ROOMS WITH OCEAN VIEWS, BUT MOST YOU CAN GET A PARTIAL DISTANT VIEW. THE POOLS ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! THE BEACH IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT THE WATER IS NOT THE TYPICAL CARRIBEAN WATER THAT YOU WOULD EXPECT. IT IS NOT AS CLEAR IF THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. IF YOU LIKE GOLF YOU WILL ENJOY THE 27 HOLES THAT ARE AT THE COURSE. IT IS FAIR YET CHALLENGING WITH WATER AND ALOT OF SAND. I WENT TO THE SPA IT WAS SPECTACULAR. THE FACILITIES WERE OUTSTANDING. IT OFFERED THE SAUNA, STEAM, AND IMMERSION POOLS THAT YOU COULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PRIOR TO YOUR THERAPY. AS FAR AS THE FOOD AND THE RESTAURANTS BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WERE REALLY GOOD ANYWHERE YOU WENT. WE DIDN'T REALLY CARE FOR THE BUFFETS FOR DINNER, BUT THE OTHER A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS WERE GOOD. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE DESSERTS AT ALL REALLY LACKED ANY TASTE!! THE MOON PALACE IS SITUATED NICELY THAT IT IS NOT TOO FAR AWAY FROM CANCUN OR PLAYA DEL CARMEN OR ANY SITE SEEING. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE AND WOULD DEFINTELY CONSIDER GOING BACK OR TO OTHER PALACE RESORTS.

The Moon Palace was even better than I had expected. The resort itself is gorgeous. Very well run, excellent service. I only have 2 complaints. The bed and pillows are not the best, I had a hard time sleeping because of this. Housekeeping in my area was ok, had to ask for someone to clean my room on the 2nd day and most of the time they left empty bottles that we had for days in the room instead of disposing of them. Other than that this place is incredible, did not even do half of what you could do on the resort, will have to go back for a next time...

There are so many restaurants and bars that you don't have to eat at the same place twice. Every restaurant has excellent food and any restaurant should be of liking by anyone. If you enjoy the party or leisure atmosphere, there is a bar that fits your needs. Moon Palace offers everything you want during your stay, wether it be a event filled trip or just a few days of relaxing at the beach. I would highly recommend this resort for people of many ages, because the resort staff makes it an enjoyable experience for all.
