This is our second time in PV in 6 months & one of our many all inclusive resort experiences in Carribean & Mexico. My husband & I had the all inclusive deal again for a 5 day stay. The hotel is very grand in general & conveniently located. The overall services are excellent. The staff is very helpful & kind. The room is large & comfy. I am sure we got an upgrades with the assistance from Allan at the front desk. We couldn't be happier with the ocean view with city & mountain as a backdrop (7016). The negatives are that the ground needs much maintenance & updates. The landscaping is a disaster for the hotel brand. Pool is cloudy. If you are looking for a beautiful & swimmable beach with white sand - wrong place; almost nobody stay on the beach. In term of foods, the quality is good but lacking the choice of restaurants & menu. Breakfast is excellent. Lunch only available at 2 places with one being the sports bar. For 3 nights in a row, we were the only table at the restaurants. General speaking, this is not an ideal place for all inclusive option; most guests during our stay did not have the all inclusive.
Wonderful trip, all went smooth. The Marriott was clean, secure and right on the beach. Food was excellant. The hotel employees were friendly, helpful, nice and accomindating. Hope to visit again soon.
Hotel is beautiful except the foods are not great; always the same kind of foods. The menu never changed. If you go in September, the beach is very muddy. You can only stay at the pool. Also hot and humid plus rain almost every day.
The food was exceptional at this hotel, we pretty much ate every single meal there. Mikado excellent Japanese and Thai, (they have tapeenyaki)La Estancia had the very best breakfast buffet, every type of Mexican breakfast item from menudo to chilaquiles, and the very best pancakes on the planet (also fresh tortillas every morning) Las casitas also very good, the very best ceviche. Just a note with this hotel, your food is included but you have to sign a receipt after every meal, which we got used to doing in. The spa is exceptional, it is completely full service, everything from steam room, sauna, hot plunge cold plunge, jacuzzi, relaxation area, and of course many different types of massage. I do think this hotel could use another pool, we spent more time on the beach than at pool, As for rooms, a typical marriott room, but the beds were not comfortable, they definitely need to be updated, but very clean. a highlight was the turtle nursery at this hotel. One of the evenings they released over 200 babies and we all got to participate. it was soo neat
