Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Reviews

I like this resort. The beach was very good, room was ok and food was ok too. The buffet was better than the restaurants (I guess I expected too much from them). People were very friendly. First time we were there 4 years ago we are going back this year as well.

The beach was great and so was the hotel. It was very clean. We traveled with our 4 and 6 year old.

This resort is everything we saw online and more.....beautiful grounds, delicious food, friendly staff.....it was one of the best vacations my husband and I have had and we would ABSOLUTELY recommend this resort to anyone! The saxophone player right outside of our room in the early evenings, the gorgeous pool winding its way through the resort grounds, the greenery and flowers, the beach....everthing was BEAUTIFUL!

The place has a beautiful view, nice beach and is centrally located to a lot of local restaurants / activities in that part of PR. There are 2 golf courses located on site (very easy to access from the hotel) priced a tad bit high but very convenient. Rent a car so you can take it all in.

I stayed here with my wife and 13 year old son right before Xmas and we all enjoyed ourselves immensly. The resort is beautiful and spacious withvery nice pool areas and well kept grounds. The beach is also very nice with chairs and palm trees for cover. The beach beds are also crazy nice but require the upgraded price. The rooms were also very nicely decorated, well kept and spacious but the beds and linen leave something to be desired. Food is good but not great, a bit better it par with other resorts

It was a last minute decision to go to Punta Cana. We picked the Majestic on a whim and glad we did! My son and I had a great time! We enjoyed the shows and activities offered. Most days I would see my son for breakfast and then he would be off doing things with the staff and other kids there at the resort! I was able to relax and enjoy!

We have been to the Dominican Republic three times now ... once at the Majestic Colonial and twice at the Royal Suites Turquesa. Both of these resorts were great and all three trips among the most pleasant and relaxing we have taken. The people of the Dominican working at these resorts are a delight ... so hard-working, proud and friendly!! Can't wait to go back ... :-)

FOOD WAS ONLY FAIR AT BEST. OTHER THAN THAT RESORT WAS GREAT

Overall the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana was average. The beach, the pools and the bars were really nice. They also had a good professional photography staff, albeit they were a bit pricey. The food, however, was a different matter altogether. They offer 6 or 7 dining areas and we found them all to be rather disappointing. The best food was at the Japanese place and it wasnt very good. And the room service was equally unappetizing. The other features were nice though.
