Not great service - people don't like to deal with customers. Drinks are average, food is average. Drinks are all sugar. Make reservations every night at the included restaurants because the buffet gets repetitive. Pool and beach are nice.
Nicely kept and made for a great vaca. The few shortfalls included some of the food and the choice of activities at night was limited.
This is a small resort but very well maintained ,the staff are the greatest We stayed at this resort on may and it rained for three days out of the five days we stayed but the staff made sure we enjoyed our vacation. the entertaiment staff were fantastic involving the guest in games and shows I recomend this resort to all interested in vacationing in PUNTA CANA. PS we are looking to return soon
We had a wonderful stay at the IFA Villas in Punta Cana. The beach was beautiful and well-maintained. The ocean was so clear and blue, it was like swimming in a pool. There is a barbecue there daily, so you can eat lunch without ever having to leave the beach!!! The catamarans and sea kayaks are complimentary, as well, so we enjoyed many active water sports from the resort. Great value. Perfect getaway. We had a relaxing time and can't wait to head back!
I booked my vacation through cheapcarribean and needless to say it was flawless. Airlines were reliable and timely. Upon arrival, transfers to and from our hotel were handled, without any worry. The resort was big and beautiful with a very friendly staff. Lots of entertainment . Ideal for whatever you are looking for whether it be a couples getaway, a famiy experience, or fun time with friends. Also, good food and drink variety. Excursions were reasonably priced and well worth it. Dune-buggies is a must! There was also a representative from cheapcarribean at our resort daily to assist us if needed. Just dont forget your sunblock! Overall it was a great, worry-free experience and am looking forward to going again!
We woke up each morning to find peacocks strolling up and down the path next to our villa. They were beautiful and a welcome surprise to someone who is used to seeing squirrels. We were able to hand feed one with a few slices of bread. A bird who likes bread? Named him Fred. :)
We got an amazing deal on this all-inclusive resort package, and for what we paid, it was definitely worth it. The pools and beach were beautiful, and we always found lounge chairs. The snack bars and restaurants were convenient, and while the food was not amazing, we never left hungry. The shows at night were very entertaining, bartenders and staff were very friendly. While our room wasn't impressive, (bed and pillows could have been more comfortable), it was certainly nice enough and the trip itself was a great deal. I would recommend this resort, as long as travellers are not expecting some 5-star luxury resort.
Everthing was terrrific. Only if want quiet don't take room across from theatre. Very loud at night when performing.
The resort overall was nice. One of the biggest problems was trying to book a reservation to one of the resort's restaurants. They book fast and you have to reserve it the same day, we tried reserving it at 9 a.m. and all of the restaurants were booked until 10 p.m.! That was very annoying because we had to eat at the buffet everyday. They had good food but we wanted to have dinner in a different setting at least one of the nights.
