My wife is a high school teacher and was battling serious burn out heading into her spring break. We needed a place to go where we didn't have to worry about anything. We absolutely chose the right spot in the Iberostar Grand. Quick, easy check in with a welcome mimosa led to a pleasant meed up with our butler. He assured us that we'd have reservations at each restaurant and a fridge stocked with Red Stripe. He was true to his word and we ate wonderfully at each dinner. The food at the italian restaurant was the least impressive, but the service at each one was wonderful. The staff bent over backward to accommodate us. The beach was a little small, but the three level pool more than made up for it. We had 4 great nights, ate and drank our fill, read a huge stack of books and came back home completely relaxed.
It was the best experience! Everyone there was so helpful! They waited on you hand and foot. It wasn't packed full of people either, no waiting in lines. Well worth the money!
The Iberostar Grand Resort in Rose Hall is a true oasis like no other in Jamaica. This five star resort is at the top of it's class. A adult-only all-inclusive resort, that has everything you would ever want. To be honest, it's better than a cruise. The individual concierge service really stood out. The staff was very professional and friendly. Always willing to serve you at every whim.
This resort was absolutely amazing. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the liquor was top shelf. I will definitely be returning to the Iberostar Grand in Montego Bay!
A wedding was the reason for visiting Jamaica. I have traveled to 6 other islands in the Carribean. This visit was one of the best. The Ibersostar Grand Rose Hall had the friendliest staff and all the amenities you could want. Being able to visit the other 2 connected resorts was another plus, but the Grand Rose Hall was fabulous. I will definitely try and go for another visit as soon as possible.
I went with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. There were acitivites that you could get involved in if you wanted to but they weren't in your face if you just wanted to relax. Food and staff were excellent. Room was amazing and the butler service.. what more can I say.. Highly recommend for couples.
I enjoyed my vacation at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall so much that I plan on going back again this winter and this time I'm talking 5 friends into making the journey with me!
My boyfriend, myself and another couple stayed here for a week in July 2010. This was by far the best vacation any of us have ever been on (Including trips to St. Lucia, Secrets Capri Riviera Maya and Dreams La Romana, DR). We actually booked the Suites and were upgraded once we got to the Grand once we got there, but now we are all dying to go back! The food was amazing, especially the Japanese restaurant, but make reservations as soon as you get there b/c they book up fast. Pool and beach were outstanding, always beds by the pool and on the beach! Rooms were out of this world, mini-bar stocked daily and snack food. Room service was perfect for a midnight snack :) Literally nothing to complain about besides the fact that we had to come home.
We have been to Negril and now Montego Bay. what a difference! Montego Bay's beach is dirty, lots of seaweed, and rocky. The pools here were not heated and were extremely cold. I only saw a handful of people use the pools during the whole week. We went to the 2 other Resorts and the main difference your paying for is to have an "adults only" resort. The food was very similar between all 3 resorts. This place is worth the money if having a kid free vacation is your priority. As for using CC to book our vacation we have never had problems and are very happy with them. This is our 2nd time booking with CC and we have never been disappointed or found a better deal! Thanks!
The resort was beautiful, the room was wonderful and by the second day I demanded to see a manager because of how rude the concierge was being. I could never get a butler in time to do anything, and all of the restaurants were booked so we had no choice but to eat at the buffet. When I asked how you actually got a restaurant reservation, I was told you need to send an e-mail to the resort ahead of time.....SERIOUSLY! I was glad that I went to this resort, but having traveled all inclusive many times, there are much better resorts and I will never be back.
