We stayed at The Hideaway at Royalton and it was the best decision we could have made. The food was excellent, room was clean, and the service was amazing. The staff there is so kind, helpful, and willing to help in anyway they can. The resort is gorgeous, rooms are brand new and clean. We would come back here without a doubt.
The resort just opened so there were still some construction going on. The pools were fantastic with multiple pool bars. Plenty of chaise lounges w/wo umbrellas. The staff were very courteous and helpful. There was evening entertainment every night with plenty of seats to watch. The adult only section was small and intermixed with the regular royalton. The food was good. Only issue I had was the Japanese restraunt should have had sake or a Japanese themed beer. The rooms were comfortable and the cleaning crew did an excellent job on cleaning. We had an issue with our TV and the staff front desk IT department took very good care of us.
The Hideaway (Adults Only) is right next to the Royalton (Family). There is only 1 restaurant on adults only side & the rest are on the family side. There is 1 pool on adults only side & right next to the other 2 family pools. A few times there were young kids in the adults only pool. I wouldn't recommend for couples unless you are looking for a family resort.
Headed down to The Hideaway at Royalton in St Lucia for a honeymoon. The newly renovated resort was very nice and clean. The Hideaway is located at the same resort as The Royalton, and The Hideaway has a separate "front desk". Their front desk could use some work. Royalton's front desk is beautiful, The Hideaway looks like 2 computers on some tables. Not the sharpest looking, but check in was quick, efficient, and a full bar is on the other side of the room. Our room was great, spacious, and always clean. The staff (cleaning, service, bar tending, etc) was always nice and accommodating. They did a very good job. We did not get Diamond Club, which gives you butler service, but we still felt very well taken care of. The Hideaway pool and swim up bar was the only pool we visited. It was clean and wasn't over populated. Chairs can go early, so make sure you head down early if you want a poolside seat. The beach is essentially "private" to the resort, there is a section of the beach for Diamond Club, a section for Hideaway, and a larger section for Royalton. Its not the biggest beach, but it works. There are some larger rocks about 30-40 feet out into the water. I would have preferred those were removed. They have non motorized water equipment that you can use which was fun. Dinning options were many, and our favorites were Zen (Hibachi), Hunter (Steak), and Dorado (Seafood, Hideaway only). Lots of compliments for this place. The only major issue was alcohol was running low a few times during our stay. For an all inclusive, that's a big deal. The bartenders were running from bar to bar to see if they could find a bottle of (pick your liquor). Management will want to make sure they have plenty of alcohol in inventory as travel picks up and the resort fills up. We were still able to get what we ordered 99% of the time, but we just had to wait a little bit for someone to go run and grab a bottle. We also became friends with our bartenders and provided some extra encouragement. That may be why we got what we wanted, and others may not have been so lucky. If management can fix the liquor, this place would be 4.5/5 stars overall. Minor bumps and recommended changes will come from everyone who stays there, but we can all agree that food and drinks can't run low.
The Hideaway at Royalton has it all! I booked before it had even opened for a honeymoon for my wife and I and we were absolutely blown away by how nice it was. Upon arriving getting cold towels and drinks. The restaurant selection was amazing from hibachi chefs cooking at your table to a filet mignon in the Hunter steakhouse! I would recommend this resort to anyone it was an amazing time! 5 Stars hands down
I absolutely loved this resort and the fabulous people who made it special each day!!! They are out of this world kind and considerate!!! The facility was very clean and well kept. The staff was very attentive to all my needs and more. Never once was I told no in any way. They accommodated all my requests!! I would definitely recommend the Royalton to all my friends and family!!!
The staff at this resort go above and beyond. Everyone made you a priority. Although they have only recently opened I didn't find any misses. The restaurants were amazing. Portions are small but they encourage you to order more if needed. I cannot say I ever left unsatisfied. If there was only one thing to improve upon it would be nightly entertainment. Again this didn't take away from the experience. There was a nightly show but I would love to see more activities to engage people throughout the stay. All in all I cannot wait to return and enjoy the service and ambience of the resort.
I stayed at the Royalton for 5 days and 4 nights and it is a great escape away from NYC and my busy life. I had a great time just relaxing. I would recommend the resort to friends and family and come back. My only complaint is there is one restaurant on the resort you have to wear long pants men only in order to eat at there and be served which I find a little strange since it is a Caribbean island and all food goes in one way and comes out the same way,. Overall my experience was great. Staff there on the resort are very helpful and the place is clean. The pictures on the website are what to expect but the resort is better looking in person I was taken away.
This resort is beautiful. From the service to the rooms and pools, this resort has it all. This resort is so big that its so quite most of the time. The pools were clean and at the perfect temperature, even for our night swims. The room was beautiful even more so because we had the ocean view junior suite in building 1. Room service and the mini fridge was done and stocked daily. Room service was 24 hours but can take an hour to get. The food on the resort was awesome. I liked room service the least but the buffet the most. The buffet allowed us to take plates to go so that we did not have to sit an eat or so that we would have food for later. Big plus for me because Im always hungry. We ate at the Asian restaurant and enjoyed it but be prepared for small portions. The staff was lovey, Janell our concierge, Jamal & Yolanda (smart vacation), and all the other staff in between were just wonderful and always so willing to help. There were only two negatives that i can really speak on. One being the bars, which didn't offer the only type of liquor i drink (Hennessy and I'm sure I'm not the only one) no where on the whole resort. Other than that the bars are stocked with everything on the hideaway side. The second negative was entertainment. There was a bit of it but i usually look forward to the daily games they do by the pool. I did see them doing it on the regular side, but for the adults only we would have appreciated entertainment by the pool. Also the disco at nights are very empty. They should probably try hiring local urban kids to get people to come out to the disco at night and dance with then and show them soca (dance-hall) moves. That's how they did it in Jamaica and the club was lit every night. Overall this resort was so awesome we became members of this resort and now we are diamond members for all the Royalton's. I highly suggest this resort if you want to experience a fairly new, clean, and huge resort. There is a water playground for kids as well. We did take advantage of the spa amenities and loved it so much we went back for the couples 80 min message. Choose this resort if you go to St Lucia, I looked at many on our way to pick people up from their hotels during our excursion and I believe you cannot get any better than the Royalty!
We just came back from a 4 night stay at the Hideaway at Royalton. It was a beautiful resort! You can tell they really thought out the resort and made lots of little touches to add to the comfort of the stay. The pool areas were amazing. There were so many different seating options. We rented a poolside cabana one day. I would highly recommend doing that for a day. Included was a cabana with a section couch and TV, a patio with 2 lounge chairs and umbrella, your own small personal pool and you very own butler that brought us drinks and food throughout the day. Talk about getting spoiled for the day! The room was beautiful. Ours had the swim out pool which we did take advantage of. The bed was very comfortable too. The chirping frogs took a while to get used to but surprisingly did not keep us from sleeping. They are really loud at night! We did not go to all of the restaurants on property during our stay. We did go to Dorado for dinner and breakfast (very good), Grazi (not great service, food was pretty good but be prepared for a 2 hour dinner) and our favorite Zen (great food, great service-Shout out to Samantha who went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding,-and great atmosphere. We also went to the breakfast buffet which was amazing. It had anything you could imagine! The bartenders were all amazing and friendly as was most of the staff. We went with a group of 14 and the staff really went above and beyond to make our vacation great.
