AMAZING!

We stayed at The Hideaway at Royalton and it was the best decision we could have made. The food was excellent, room was clean, and the service was amazing. The staff there is so kind, helpful, and willing to help in anyway they can. The resort is gorgeous, rooms are brand new and clean. We would come back here without a doubt.

Diamond in the rough

The resort just opened so there were still some construction going on. The pools were fantastic with multiple pool bars. Plenty of chaise lounges w/wo umbrellas. The staff were very courteous and helpful. There was evening entertainment every night with plenty of seats to watch. The adult only section was small and intermixed with the regular royalton. The food was good. Only issue I had was the Japanese restraunt should have had sake or a Japanese themed beer. The rooms were comfortable and the cleaning crew did an excellent job on cleaning. We had an issue with our TV and the staff front desk IT department took very good care of us.

Honeymoon in St Lucia

Headed down to The Hideaway at Royalton in St Lucia for a honeymoon. The newly renovated resort was very nice and clean. The Hideaway is located at the same resort as The Royalton, and The Hideaway has a separate "front desk". Their front desk could use some work. Royalton's front desk is beautiful, The Hideaway looks like 2 computers on some tables. Not the sharpest looking, but check in was quick, efficient, and a full bar is on the other side of the room. Our room was great, spacious, and always clean. The staff (cleaning, service, bar tending, etc) was always nice and accommodating. They did a very good job. We did not get Diamond Club, which gives you butler service, but we still felt very well taken care of. The Hideaway pool and swim up bar was the only pool we visited. It was clean and wasn't over populated. Chairs can go early, so make sure you head down early if you want a poolside seat. The beach is essentially "private" to the resort, there is a section of the beach for Diamond Club, a section for Hideaway, and a larger section for Royalton. Its not the biggest beach, but it works. There are some larger rocks about 30-40 feet out into the water. I would have preferred those were removed. They have non motorized water equipment that you can use which was fun. Dinning options were many, and our favorites were Zen (Hibachi), Hunter (Steak), and Dorado (Seafood, Hideaway only). Lots of compliments for this place. The only major issue was alcohol was running low a few times during our stay. For an all inclusive, that's a big deal. The bartenders were running from bar to bar to see if they could find a bottle of (pick your liquor). Management will want to make sure they have plenty of alcohol in inventory as travel picks up and the resort fills up. We were still able to get what we ordered 99% of the time, but we just had to wait a little bit for someone to go run and grab a bottle. We also became friends with our bartenders and provided some extra encouragement. That may be why we got what we wanted, and others may not have been so lucky. If management can fix the liquor, this place would be 4.5/5 stars overall. Minor bumps and recommended changes will come from everyone who stays there, but we can all agree that food and drinks can't run low.

Amazing Honeymoon

The Hideaway at Royalton has it all! I booked before it had even opened for a honeymoon for my wife and I and we were absolutely blown away by how nice it was. Upon arriving getting cold towels and drinks. The restaurant selection was amazing from hibachi chefs cooking at your table to a filet mignon in the Hunter steakhouse! I would recommend this resort to anyone it was an amazing time! 5 Stars hands down

The staff at this resort go above and beyond. Everyone made you a priority. Although they have only recently opened I didn't find any misses. The restaurants were amazing. Portions are small but they encourage you to order more if needed. I cannot say I ever left unsatisfied. If there was only one thing to improve upon it would be nightly entertainment. Again this didn't take away from the experience. There was a nightly show but I would love to see more activities to engage people throughout the stay. All in all I cannot wait to return and enjoy the service and ambience of the resort.

Getaway Trip

I stayed at the Royalton for 5 days and 4 nights and it is a great escape away from NYC and my busy life. I had a great time just relaxing. I would recommend the resort to friends and family and come back. My only complaint is there is one restaurant on the resort you have to wear long pants men only in order to eat at there and be served which I find a little strange since it is a Caribbean island and all food goes in one way and comes out the same way,. Overall my experience was great. Staff there on the resort are very helpful and the place is clean. The pictures on the website are what to expect but the resort is better looking in person I was taken away.

Not Adults Only

The Hideaway (Adults Only) is right next to the Royalton (Family). There is only 1 restaurant on adults only side & the rest are on the family side. There is 1 pool on adults only side & right next to the other 2 family pools. A few times there were young kids in the adults only pool. I wouldn't recommend for couples unless you are looking for a family resort.
