All Hideaway at Royalton Negril Customer Reviews
We actually stayed at the Royalton Blue Waters in Falmouth. The Hideaway was not ready for our travel dates. As compensation, we were upgraded to Diamond Club. Very few of the "perks" actually materialized, however. The resort was beautiful and we had a wonderful time, but there were some disappointments. Most of the days we had to ask for towels and washcloths. Housekeeping was always low on them. Our refrigerator was not stocked. We did not have butler service as promised with Diamond Club. We were not given "priority" dining reservations and there was no adults-only pool. They transfer company, Amstar, was horrible. Staff was rude and pushy. They would not allow us to take a later shuttle to the airport when our flight was delayed by 3 hours! We ended up hiring our own driver to the airport so we didn't have to go and sit there. The country of Jamaica was amazing and we did have a great vacation. There were just some promised amenities that did not materialize. We will definitely go to an adults-only resort when we go back and we absolutely will select a different transport company.

i stayed at this location july 27 2017 to august 04 2017. i do not recommend anyone to stay here if u do stay at ur own risk and sleep with all items i would like to acknowlege amstar employee kerryann( assisting me with any information and helping me with the best of her ability very pleasant and outstanding customer service skills and security supervisor romaine palmer he went above ane beyond his work duties to make sure i got transportation to and from the hotel safe and sound. he was very pleasant...patient and tried his best to make me feel comfortable and calm during my stay... my best friend and i arrived at the hotel at around 12 pm they told us that we were early for check in which was at 3pm if we can come back around that time and our room should be ready. at 3pm we returned they still wanted us to hang around because our room wasn’t finished.. so around 4 pm they told us that they upgraded our room to a suite due to the fact that it took them so long to clean our room. on day 1 July 27 in the suite we had ants all over the floors coming out of the wood inside of our room july 28...day 2....the lights weren’t working... elevators kept shutting off.... generator flicking on and off.... July 29...day 3.... Still more ants coming out of the wall... television and cable not working... terrible wifi connection.... july 30....day 4.... wasn’t really on the resort so nothing much to say on this day July 31... day 5... i dined at the tex mex restaurant on the resort left bag in the restaurant at 954 pm restaurant closes at 10 pm and my bag was stolen or came up missing... aug 01 to august 3, i bought it to the attention of security managers Milton at hotel. they tried to blame it on guest and myself on the disappearance of my bag.my bag had my passport,,, charger ... cash... they gave me the run around. they told me i couldn’t make a police report until they did there investigation. i had to stop a policeman by the name of Kevin who directed me to a local taxi so i can get to the nearest police station. the security manager Milton did not want me to make a report. after making a police report i was told to go to the us embassy which is located in Kingston which is about a 4hour drive going and coming from hotel. the cheapest taxi from the hotel to Kingston was $200. i left for Kingston 330am on august 2 and returned 300pm that afternoon. Now while i was out tryng to handle passport situation. security manager milton failed to do his job. he was notified about my bag early august 2 at around 10am upon his arrival to work... he decided to check the cameras of his facility after 830 pm. that is unacceptable. he failed to keep consistently keep me updated with any information( All this time im asking for general manager general manager was not on site and didn’t have time to speak to me) august 3..... i was told i needed an incident report due to the situation. security manager Milton again failed to write up incident at date of occurrence i had to ask for a report. he was upset i wanted to file a claim and asked for a report. He was very defensive needless to say when he finlly checked his cameras i did go into restaurant with my bag n left without it. i stayed at this location july 27 2017 to august 04 2017. i do not recommend anyone to stay here if u do stay at ur own risk and sleep with all items

The swim out rooms were amazing and pool was clean and serene. I was disappointed with the restaurants and fare as everything was pretty much the same at each restaurant and buffet. The restaurants are also only open during certain hours so sometimes we would be starving and room service was pretty slow. We had to go off property to find a decent meal. The staff also had no idea when restaurants open and had us walking in circles a few times which was prettt annoying. Otherwise we had a great stay and enjoyed the place.
