Gran Bahia Principe La Romana Reviews

I was very happy that I chose Gran Bahia Principe for my vacantion this year. Everything was like a dream. From the moment I arrived at the resort until I left. The room was comfortable, the Beach nice and clean. Food was diverse and fresh. This resort is a good place to bring your children to. There are many activities during the day and in the evening too, for the whole family to enjoy.

Beautiful property, not too big to walk everywhere, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, decent shows and good dancing. Buffet i would consider above average, pools clean, beach calm though not crystal clear due to river outlet nearby. Great for the price, only complaints pool closes at 6pm!

One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in. The food was very good but the help in the dining room were a little on the slow sside. However I would definitely go there again. The pools were great and the pool bar wonderful.

We experienced the most memorable time at the resort, for a family reunion. There was fun activities at all times for everyone. Service was great. The rooms, bathrooms, linnens and towels were clean and flawless. Room service was 24/7, all inclusive. Beautiful place, scene and weather. My brother-in-law is the most difficult person to please - and he was quite satisfied.

this was the first vacation that i had booked through cheapcaribbean.com and it was so easy. first of all, i narrowed down the location to the dominican, there happened to be a great deal at the dates we were going for the gran bahia. from the time we got to the airport, we were treated wonderfully. the airport transport was easy to find, the resort was gorgeous to say the least. i actually posted pictures of the beach on my facebook page and got comments that it looked like a post card from heaven. the room had a view of the beautiful gardens, the food was good and i loved the fact that you could eat at 3 am or pm, something was always available. the staff was so accomadating. probably my favorite part of the whole vacation was how private and beautiful the beach was. my husband and i are still looking for one that is so pretty. i truly would rate this the best vacation of all time, it was easy to book, affordable, resort was unbelievable, beach was gorgeous, staff was super friendly, food was good and readily available. i would most certainly recommend this resort to anyone!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Gran Bahia Principe La Ramana. The staff was awesome and the resort was breathtakingly beautiful. There was always some place close by with food and drink 24/7. We enjoyed the paddle boats and ping pong as well as just laying out on the beach. The nighttime activities were also entertaining, and the room was lovely. We had an excellent vacation and we plan to go back.

The room was very nice, comfortable, and had a great view of the beach. The pools were nice but crowded and they closed before sunset to be heavily chlorinated and unusable for the rest of the night. The beach was lovely but it is in a little cove so there was a lot of seaweed and other floaties all over. The staff was very helpful and pleasant but almost nobody spoke English at all so it was very difficult to communicate. The buffets and the restaurants were good. Room service was terrible: extremely slow, always incorrect and they didn't seem to even have everything that was offered on the minimal menu. They daily re-stocking of soda and water in the mini fridge was wonderful

excellent location resort was very secure very few people spoke english manager in fish rest. refused to turn on air...very hot in dining room buffet in morning, afternoon and dinner was very good oh, so clean, entire resort, pool area and beach

The only downfall was that the beech water was murky at the time we were there but we were told that usually the water is clear. The service was great. They went up and beyound to keep us smiling.

If you want to stay at a family friendly place away from the Punta Cana area this is the place you should consider. Rooms were awesome as was the pool area. Staff was also very friendly, everything was clean, the scenery was beautiful and the food at the buffet restaurant was very good. I do not recommend Olas snack kiosk, food was not properly covered and was full of flies. Everything else was outstanding. And there was no over crowding at any of the areas of the hotel. Will go back in a heartbeat. My kids loved it.
