Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun All Inclusive Reviews

We visited Fiesta Americana Condesa for spring break 2011. It was family oriented yet fun for the college kids. Food and drinks were plentiful and the establishment had games throughout the day to keep everyone having fun. Evening had a show and the lobby bar but we were so tired from eating, drinking and swimming all day that we rarely went. We were awake early everyday to enjoy the morning sun and warm wether - perfect March weekend!!

K-Starting with the "Not so good" - the pool is like ice and the jacuzzi is never hot. When we got to our room ( we upgraded to the ocean front balcony) We had to wait thru 2 hours of drilling for them to replace our broken safe. When they left, we found our balcony door wouldn't lock so yet another call to maintenance. A little frustrating start. The service was great. We were overly pleased with the 1st night at the Italian restaurant-we had a wonderful meal & left a sizeable tip. The next night there the service was terrible and we left & went to the buffet. Though it should not matter, as tips are optional-we thought maybe one of the waiters had pocketed our tip & the others may have remembered us from the night before...not sure what happened there but it was like night & day. The other eating choices were excellent-great quality of food- not just burgers by the pools-total meals such as ribs, potatoes, veggies etc. The fish tacos, shrimp & scallop cocktails and seafood selections were wonderful. This is our 1st time at this resort but we have stayed at other places multiple times in Cancun. The overall quality of the food & top shelf alcohol was above our expectations. Tips for 1st timers: Use the bus when possible. Its less than a buck & will take you up & down the main hotel zone and to many excursions you may plan. Taxis can be a rip-this resort offers a price list up front which is awesome but be sure to get your cab drivers personal card-a taxi back to your hotel can cost as much as double if you don't use the hotel drivers. There is only 1 cab service at the airport-it's pay their prices or walk if you dont pay for a shuttle service when arranging your trip. They know they have you so it;s best to just pay for a shuttle service up front. If you plan on purchasing alcohol, ciggs etc-have your driver take you to Walmart-they are cheapest & the driver will wait for you. The staff is constantly cleaning this hotel-the grounds are beautiful and the all inclusive price is great. Tips are optional but take lots of dollar bills with you-these folks don't make a lot of money & really appreciate your tips. The only thing I don't like is that when you tip all tips are shared so for example-if you have a favorite bartender-at the end of his 11 hr shift-all tips from all bars go into 1 pot & are divided equally. Stop by the lobby & ask for Manu & Coral-they were the best! Have a great trip! We'll be back next year for sure!!!

We had a wanderful time the only thing that we experienced was some kids made prank calls and ordered room service to bring us towels this was at about 1:00 am when room service came knocking i told the the situation and did not know if he understood my english very well but the next day after the cleaning lady came and we got back to are room they had left a fruit tray and a apoligy letter which we thought was awsome. That is the only problem we had the pools were nice and clean the room was taken care of twice day and the room was very very clean. We had a check out time of 12:00 noon and are flight did not leave untill 7:30 mexico time the bus picked us up at 5:30 so the resort accomadated us in are stay for the 5 and a half hours which was very nice. So in closing yes I would recommend the resort to any one wanting a wanderful vacation in Cancun, by the way we felt very safe leaving the resort we went shopping and walked the strip in front of the resorts people are very nice. Hope you find this useful i know i did alot of reserch on this resort. Yours truly jamiscycles P.S I forgot to mention we had reserved a room with a ocean veiw and that was not what they had us down for but did give us a ocean fornt room. Beautiful!!

Resort was beautiful, extremely clean. Service outstanding. Food great with variety, easily assesible. All inclusive was a great deal. Would recommend to friends and return there myself in the future.

From the moment my wife and I arrived we were blown away at how nice the resort was for what we paid! The service was excellent and if you provide the staff with a couple bucks you and your guest will be treated like a king and queen. The pool bar was great and the beach grill with fish & shrimp tacos, fresh guacomole & pico, you can't go wrong. All meals were excellent with many options for vegetarians. My wife and I would highly recommend this resort to any one looking for a quick get away! Beach front room views were amazing. Furthermore, the resort is super safe so no worries about issues on the border! The beach provided white sandy beaches with the clearest water I have ever seen!! Only issue was spanish only ESPN, lol

OMG! is all i can say about this resort... Although the resort was under small renovations it has no did not affect our trip in any way. The staff is by the far the best staff i have ever met... Everyone goes above and beyond to exceed your expectations. The Tour guide from Olympus tours is the greatest, very informative and helpful. Beware of the people in the airport!!!! they approach you as if they are with your hotel but they are not, they are selling time share and scam you into buying their tours.. the same goes for the conceirge at the hotel. Please book all your tours through your olympus tour guide! Olympus tours are insured and cancellable. I will definetly return to this hotel... I met so many friendly travelers and staff members on this property... The food, entertainment and drinks are the best... Its safe to drink the water on this property... i was there 7 nights and never got sick once. ... please tell all your friends, this is definetly somewhere to visit with friends.. the clubs are the best. Go to COCO BONGO- book the party hoppers... and go on a FRIDAY or SATURDAY night its the best night to party at this club.

My daughter and me wanted to get away for a trip to the beach before she started work for the summer and this resort was just the right place. It was a short taxi drive to the malls and flea markets and could end the shopping experience with a short walk to senor' frogs. The pool was awesome and the beach was beautiful, although during our visit the red flags were up and it was pretty rough waters. The staff was outstanding. So friendly and accomadating to your every need. The rooms were clean althogh a little outdated compared to other hotels I have stayed in with the same star ratings. The food was a little disappointing, but the asian restaurant was worth the wait. Overall, I would reccomend this resort. It was beautiful.

Wonderful Resort. We felt so pampered everyday. The hotel staff was AMAZING. The resort was better than anticipated. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to go back early next year. Hats off to you Fiesta American Condessa!!!!!!!!!

- The level of water in the pools were not high enough to reach the filters...Therefore, the water was not being filtered at all. - I had opened a filtering station to see if there were any chemicals in there, and there were not any. - Pools were extremely dirty. -The service was horrible. Everyone was rude and did not care if you were enjoying yourself or not. -The food was horrible. Everything was a buffet and the food was sitting out for so long that it was spoiled. -The temperature of our room was always HOT! We had set it to 64 degrees everyday and it didn't feel anything but 83 degrees in the room the entire time. -The cleaning services were not good. We would wake up by 8AM and leave our room and come back by 4PM and our room was not attended to. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. For the price we had paid it was NOT worth it! WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO FIESTA AMERICANA CONDESA EVER AGAIN! Very disappointed

Went there with my wife for out one year anniversary. Very nice place with a very very nice staff. Perfect for the family if you have kids. Food was actually very good, which I was not expecting it to be. A+++
