The memories will last!!

I proposed to my wife at Puerto Adventuras a number of years and still remember it like it was last week. The movies on the beach, the grilled burgers, the super, super friendly staff and ultra-clean rooms... It was wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed being so close to the community that we could spend an afternoon walking around and shopping. We would definitely recommend this resort.

Gorgeous hotel and grounds

The service was amazing and the beach is gorgeous. I especially enjoyed the natural pool at the sea. The workers at the hotel seemed to go out of their way to make sure everyone always had a smile. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Mexican caribbean vacation.

A little piece of paradise

I intentionally went after school started and found the hotel not too crowded and not so many kids. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the beach and hotel were very clean.

Great mid-winter getaway

We enjoyed our stay 6 night stay at Dreams Puerto Aventuras. We traveled in December 2009 with a 23 month old and a 7 year old. The resort was great for the kids. The pool was fantastic, and we also enjoyed the beach. They both used the kids' club a few times, and that allowed the adults to enjoy a few quiet meals together. The kids' club staff was wonderful. December was a bit windy, so there was not much opportunity for snorkeling, but all of us got to use the free hourly rental, even the toddler gave it a try. Our room was comfortable, and included a pull-out sofa. That allowed us to put the kids in separate beds, which was nice. The room was cleaned regularly, and the fridge was well-stocked. They accommodated special requests, as well. The food was decent, better than I expected. We had many good meals, and I was pleased that we had easy access to food for the kids. There was both a selection of "kid foods" and of other foods that they enjoyed eating. Because an exclusively all-inclusive vacation is a bit tiresome for us, we went to Playa del Carmen and to the ruins at Tulum. Both times we used taxis and went on our own. We found this to be convienient, safe and relatively inexpensive. We made lots of good memories at Dreams. The kids still talk about the "fancy drinks" they we able to enjoy from the bars. We enjoyed a relaxing vacation at a time when life was really hectic. It was a great break from reality.

Our first Mexican Trip

We had a wonderful time despite the fact that we had a lot of rain. The view was spectacular. The staff from housekeeping all the way to the concierge were always friendly and very helpful. The food was good and you could get something to eat 24/7. We would love to stay there again when it wasn't so rainy, and we didn't have to swim to dinner each night.

Honeymoon

My husband and I loved the resort. When we went, the hotel was not at max capacity so not all of the restaurants were open so we did not get to try all of them. The nightly entertainment was great and the service was very good.

Nice trip but a lot of travel time!

We had a really fun trip. Sadly we only had 5 days and almost 2 of them were spent on travel. When you combined the flight and the long van ride to the resort from the airport in Cancun our trip was cut short. We would like to stay at another Dreams resort but choose one that is closer to the airport. The room was nice. Dinning and activities were good. The area felt really clean and safe. The pools could have been better, but the ocean was nice. Overall it was a good trip. We just needed more time to enjoy it.

Good value

This is a much smaller resort than I had expected, but the rooms were emaculate, large and beautifully decorated. Staff was very helpful - service outstanding. My only issue was upon check-in, the Cheap Caribbean rooms were in the least desirable locations. I paid for an upgrade, which was worth the money. Food was good and location was great for families - the dolphin and sea lion experiences were only 5 minutes away (an easy walk) and were most definitely worth doing. If you've been to mega resorts and loved them, this smaller resort may be disappointing, but we enjoyed the trip - had perfect weather in January!

Great Resort

The service at this resort was great. People were extremely kind and helpful. There are two pools with swim up bars one pool adults only and the other if you have kids. Restaurants and food were excellent and you did not need to make reservations for any meals and could go as often as you like. You are also in walking distance to a marina with dolphins and shopping.
