I had a great time at this hotel, stayed 7 nights for an anniversary. Overall hotel and room quality is average at best, but the view, beach and location more than make up for any quality issues. Good local restaurants within walking distance. Barbados' local brew - Banks Beer is rad. Ted's tour is a good way to check out the island. Definitly go on a snorkling trip (lots of sea turtles in the area), catamaran ride, jet ski, whatever - get out in the warm water and enjoy.
We had a wonderful time & the price was great, as were the breakfasts (but we weren't too crazy about the dinner offerings & prices) . The rooms are more than sufficient with gorgeous views, the beach & pool are awesome and the staff goes out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience. Scott and Kathy are charming hosts & recommended spectacular activities, especially the Rubáiyát catamaran cruise which was the highlight of our trip. We liked it so much that we can't wait to go back!
Beach Lovers! This is an excellent value on one of the best and very private beaches in Barbados. The upper rooms have a commanding ocean view. rooms could use a little updating but overall completely acceptable. The breakfast is a bit tedious but adequate. Location close to bus stop shopping and the boardwalk to other beaches and dining options.
My visit to Barbados was one of my most memorable trips ever. The Coconut Court Beach Hotel was charming and exceeded my expectations. The staff was exceptional and the location outstanding. Centrally located to all popular locations by foot or bus, this quiet resort will definitely be re-visited. I booked this sight unseen and had never been to Barbados. I was truly delighted with all aspects of this trip from beginning to end!! Thank you Cheap Carribbean!
Family owned hotel on a gorgeous beach with a friendly staff who we can not wait to see again!!!
We had a wonderful time at the Cocunut Court Beach Hotel. The beach was really awesome! There is a small reef about 500 yrad out from the beach. The water is really clear and beautiful. The people in Barbados are very friendly and helpful.. The food and activities were all very modestly priced. The Cocunut Court is an older modest hotel, but the room was large with a refrigerator and stove. The beach view was fantastic. The front part of the hotel is kind of a maze and there are no elevators. The view from the room and the beach more that mkae up for its shortcomings. If what you want is a relaxing time at a relly good beach for a great value, this can't be beat!
Overall, the trip to Barbados was a good trip. It was my first experience to the Carribean and I think that it was a good way to get my feet wet. The people are helpful and there is Enlgish being spoken so it was easier to navigate and get around. The hotel was right on the beach. Overall, it was a good vacation and time well spent away from teh cold autumn of the Pacific Northwest.
The Coconut Court is not for those looking for a grand, opulent beach resort. What it is, is a perfect hotel with ocean views from every room situated on a great beach studded with palm trees and soft pink sand. We had an amazing time, and being in such a relaxing, low key hotel was part of what made it great. It is in a good location, directly between St. Lawrence Gap and the capital, Bridgetown. It was a short walk to dozens of restaurants and some different beaches, which we went to for variety, but not out of necessity. I would go back in a heartbeat, and intend to when I find another great deal.
Great mom and pops type of place nothing fancy but rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful would stay here again if going back to barbados and would recommend if you are looking for a no frills inexpensive hotel on the beach had a great little bar with many happy hours as well
This is a place that is not elegant or upscale, but very nice indeed. We sincerely had a good time and would recommed it to anyone that really needs a vacation. The hotel and grounds are very well kept and clean. The beach and pools are fabulous. The Palm Trees , flowers and tropical plants on the property make it a special place to be. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The bar on the beach is real cool. Feeding the tropical fish at the artificial reef was fun. Taking long walks on the beach and collecting shells was theraputic. The people in Barbados are very friendly and you feel safe roaming around. For budget minded travelers this should be on your to do list.
