We had the best honeymoon ever at St. Thomas Emerald beach. A perfect place to get away and start your life together!

I stayed at the Emerald Beach last summer for 5 nights. It was a perfect getaway. the staff were very accommodating and friendly, we had no issues with our room, the balcony was oceanfront, the beach, Lindbergh Bay, was clean and never too crowded, the pool looked very inviting but we went to the beach every day. Meals were reasonable at the hotel and the evening restaurant (italian) had the best tiramisu I have ever had! It was close to the airport... but it was surprisingly peaceful for being so close to the airport. The complementary rum punch upon arrival was a perfect introduction to the hotel's laid back atmosphere. I do plan on returning someday!!

I stayed at Emerald beach with a good friend for a long weekend. First off, it was great to walk from the airport to the hotel!! Never done that before.....the staff were extremely friendly, the room was spotless with great views of the beach, and this was THE PERFECT SPOT for a long weekend away from the craziness of NYC!

On our first vacation without the kids, we sat on the beach every day. The sun was great. Sunsets were terrific. We bought a bottle of island rum and had rum and cokes every day. You tend to forget that this is an island and everything has to be shipped in - ergo: costs are high. The Emerald Beach is well located for easy transport into town on the 1$ sefari taxi. The beach entertained numerous ships passengers for the day because it was so nice.. Snorkeling was a good view of the sand. All in all a great vacation

We had an awesome vacation at St Thomas. Everything we wanted or needed was at the Emerald Beach resort. Staff was great and the beach and tiki bar were a blast!!

We had a wonderful time in St. Thomas and the Emerald Beach Hotel was great. The staff was courteous and helpful or stay was great and our romm overlooked the beach. i can't say enough about the hotel.

The Best Western Emerald Beach was great.The room was clean and the grounds beautiful.Our room was cleaned daily and the folks there very helpful.Would go this way again.the beach was clean and always kept up.Thank-you Cheap caribbean will travel with you again soon...

We enjoyed it for what is was!!!! the view from the room was awesome, but as far as a true resort its not!!!! its a great base camp if you will!!! not a place to say if you want to say at the hotel for your hole stay!!! clean but the staff could be more freindly!!!!! Liked it but wouldnt stay their again!!!

This vacation was by far one of the best I have been on. I was traveling on a budget and found the accommodations to be more than excellent. The hotel was located very close to the airport and it was convenient. The beach was the most beautiful on the island. It was clean and quiet. I actually came back from this vacation pregnant and now have a beautiful 4 month old. I went in August of 2010. The staff does not wait on you hand and foot, however, for independent travelers that just want to be left alone - this spot was fantastic!!!!! I went to the local market, stocked on booze and munchies and enjoyed!!!! Very private beach especially at night.

The location is near the airport, you hear alot of planes going in and out but that isn't a big deal. The beach in this area is PERFECT!!!! They advertise 3 restaurants which isn't true. THere is only 1. The food isn't good and is WAY WAY WAY WAY OVERPRICED. No good dining options even close. The hotels within walking distance down the beach have about the same menu at a little better price. If you are going just for the beach, this place CAN NOT be beat. If you must have food options or if you want to be within walking distance of the shopping areas, this place ISN'T for you. Cab ride to the shopping areas are about $7 per person each direction. Also, the cab drivers are not reliable when you "reserve" them to meet you at a place and time. We were stood up twice by differennt drivers. A guy named Thomas that works out of the hotel left us stranded on the other side of the island for 2 hours.
