Best Western Bay View Suites Reviews

The property is NOT on the beach but has two pools and about a 10 minute walk from the beach. It's like a studio apartment! full bedroom, kitchen with pots/pans/plates etc, living room with dining corner! There are two TVs and a back yard, shaded with canopy and basically private from the next room. The service was GREAT. Housekeeping came everyday AND WASHED THE DISHES WE USED!!! Fresh flowers on the coffee table everyday! The setting is more tropical ALLOT OF TREES ON AND AROUND THE PROPERTY. Nice grounds for pics and to relax outside...away from the beach. There is a store/snack shop combo on the grounds. They're connected and seem to be run by the same in both. The menu is limited as well as the cocktail choses. The store had a fair variety of items but IS THE CHEAPEST ON THE ISLAND. If you haven't brought food, it's best to go to Nassau ON THE FERRY or walk (about 1/2 hour) to buy groceries. The first grocery store is the best for variety and value. There is delivery, chinese pizza etc, but limited hours of the day and we did not enjoy the food. The food on the premises was good with fair portions. You're walking distance from the shopping area, bank and casino.The pic is of the backyard and from the ferry returning from Nassau to Paradise Island...

It was a nice came into our room the bathroom was half clean but taken care of real quick. The staff was very helpful and the place is nice and quiet. I think i would go back.

The suites and pools were spacious, cleanand lovely, There weren even two TVs for nthose who care to watch. Wayt too many steps to walk. The register office was up a full narrow flight of stairs. Most suites had about 8-10 steps to ascend to the room. The lobby was tiny and unviting. Bathroom amenities and coffee supplies were not replenished daily. One had to ask housekeeping for that, but it was then serviced promptly.There were no complimentary coffee or fruits upon initial registration. We arrived early AM and rooms were not available until afternoon. the entire large complex was Quiet and serene withe lovely plants and flowers. There were mostly adults around, many reading and lounging by the pool. Children appeared to be absent at this time. If you are looking for a peaceful rest and a full kitchen to prepare your own food this BW is optimum, howecver if you need a beach vacation, it was lacking. Cabbage beach was a few blocks away with difficult access. {Up a steep incline and then down to the beach where lounge chairs were being expensively hawked. All in all value was about average for your money
