This was a great family type resort. The resort was very nice. Food was good. Beautiful pools. The food was good. The beach was nice. We loved taking out the kayaks to the small islands.

This is a great destination if you are on a budget!

In our first room, there was no hot water and bugs in the bed, after 4 phone calls and 3 hrs, we got moved. Then there was a water main break in our new building a half hour b-4 we had our dinner reservations,so we could not shower b-4 dinner. The power kept going off during dinner. The people that worked in the very small Casino at the resort were the rudest people I have ever met, and good luck getting a drink, they were too busy talking to each other. When we went to management, we were waiting in line with alot of other un happy customers, more with dead bugs in their beds, and 2 couples asked to be moved to a whole different hote & get their $ Back. I would not go back here ever!!! Even if it was free!! Food was all terrible!!

When we first got there, we realized we were in the middle of what looked like the ghetto and were worried. Afterwards we wait until 3:00pm to be checked in only to find our room was not ready. They told us we had to wait if we wanted to be close to the beach and we did, only to be placed on the complete opposite side of the resort which was VERY frustrating. After the bumpy start the Oasis hamaca won me over with their hospitality. There are so many nice people just looking to see how you are doing. By day 6 the first day was a distant memory. I will definately go back.

I felt the hotel overall was good. Unfortunately on our stay it rained 5 out of 7 days and even though the hotel has a beautiful beach and beautiful pools we could not enjoy them fully. My one recommendation for the hotel is to have more activities within the hotel when it does rain besides the great show that they have every night at 9 PM.

The Oasis Hamaca is a beautiful resort to visit. My family and I enjoyed the great hospitality and food at the resort. The beach was beautiful, and there were several day and night time activities. We enjoyed the night time shows. The spa was wonderful. The staff were friendly and courteous. The oceanview room was very nice with modern anmenites. This was a vacation we will not forget. the resort was very good for relaxing and the beach area was not very crowded. We hope to visit the resort again some day. Wonderful vacation site!

Oasis Hamaca is a nice hotel. We had an oceanview room and a nice patio to sit and watch the sunset. Enjoyed our vacation in Santo Domingo.

Overall a nice place if you are looking for an all inclusive with a great beach and pool. While the food was good unfortunately my girlfriend and I both got very sick for three of the five days there. We only drank bottled water. The " 24 hour" doctor was unavailable and no further assistance was offered. If you go I would consider having at least a basic knowledge of the spanish language as most of the staff speak very little english. ( I'm not complaining after all I am in their country ). The other issue we had was the constant solicitation by staff and outside vendors to purchase items or excursions. We had to plan our walk through the complex just to avoid them. It was extremely annoying after the second day. Bottom line if we did not get sick I would recommend it based on price.

Came here with below average expectations, it is pretty sad that I was dissapointed. My room smelled so bad of mold I got a headache staying in the room only 10 minutes. The lied to me saying they had no more rooms. I stood at the desk for 1 hour blocking other guests until they moved me to another dirty room that was dirty. It was only after I complained to CheapCarribean.com that they moved me to a clean room the next day, but it had two very small beds rather than the one king we reserved. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME AFTER WORK BECAUSE I KNOW I CAN TAKE A SHOWER , GET INTO MY CONFORTABLE CLOTHES AND HAVE A GREAT MEAL & AT TIMES GO OUT. AND THAT IS HOW I FEEL AT OAISES HAMACA. I WORK OUT A SWEAT DURING THE DAY DOING SO MANY THINGS LIKE WATER SPORTS, EXCURSIONS,SHOPPING IN TOWN THEN WHEN I GET INTO MY ROOM I'LL COOL OFF, TAKE A SHOWER AND PUT ON CONFORTABLE CLOTHES SO THAT I CAN ENJOY A WONDERFUL MEAL AT THE BUFFET WITH SO MANY CHOICES OF FOOD. THAN AFTER EATING I CAN EITHER RELAX OR CONTINUE TO HAVE MORE FUN AT OAISES HAMACA NIGHT LIFE.
