Barcelo Puerto Vallarta Reviews

We just returned from our trip (Sun-Sun) on the 25th. My husband and I took my step father and my sister and they loved it. LOVED IT! He and my mother have been all over the world and cruises and he was convinced Barcelo had better selection of food, better taste, better choices for activites....we went next door to the fishing village and went snorkling and fishing twice. Caught fish and cooked them on the beach. Had fresh scallops in a cucumber salad...all in all a very unforgetable time. He's making plans to go back already! My sisters 1st time and she 's ready again, too. We have been going here every year for 3 yrs and I am glad I got to show someone else why I love this hotel and beach!!!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by traveling to Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. Our stay at Barcelo was really great. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. This hotel was recommended to us by some friends. It met all my expectations.it was off season therefore the hotel was not crowded which we enjoyed. The service was excellent. Especially the guy at the pool bar. The entertainment was good day and night. My husband got to sing kareoke. It was a fun vacation. Can't wait to return soon in the near future.

The Barcelo resort in Puerto Vallarta was an excellent place to spend a vacation. The Resort had everything promised on the website. I was a bit worried that when we got there it would not be a good as what was shown on the internet but it surpassed what was shown in several ways. The convenience and ease of the website was also excellent. This is a great site to use when planning a vacation to a tropical destination and you want to save money!

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE. EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL THE ONLY DRAWBACK WAS THE FOOD AT THE BUFFET AT DINNER. NOT GREAT. THE SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS WAS WONDERFUL AND BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WAS GREAT. THEY COULDN'T DO ENOUGH TO MAKE YOU COMFORTABLE.

We went to PV for our 25th weding annivsary. The hotel was fabulous. We did a zipline trip that we THE BEST EVER!! Town was a little farther that we would have likes but the local bus trip in was cheao and full of suprises, it was fun. I would not go back in August as it was too hot. The hotel room was very luxurious, with a great oceanview. The beach was small but private. We also took a boat ride to a waterfall All in all a very nice vacation

As always, Mismaloya is a great time to be had - for all!

We had a great time in Puerto Vallarta at the Barcello Mismaloya resort. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the service was excellent in the restaurants and at the pool. Loved the nightly entertainment too. We were also walking distance to the most unique zoo I have ever visited, and on the way we stopped at a tequila outlet and learned how tequila was made and had samples! Great experience at Barcello.

The out of the way location and outstanding views make this Resort a hidden jewel. You could spend your vacation in their comfortable beds, but, the rest of the Resort and the location offer you so much to explore it would mbe a waste of time. This is the fifth Barcelo Resort that I have stayed at, and is tied for number one on my ratings list. The sertvice, like the rest of the Barcelo Resorts is outstanding.I have stayed at other Resorts, so know Barcelo is doing something right in picking and traing their staff. You can be assured that you will not be making a mistake when choosing a Barcelo Resort

Took vacation from 07/16/2010 to 07/25/2010 at PV Barcelo. We had a great time! food was good, service was ok, hotel was clean and Jr Suite was very comfortable and big. Beach was small but still beautiful. Love being surrounded by the jungle. Wheather was nice for the most part, sunny during the morning and storm late in the evenning. (I kind of liked the storm) Zoo nearby (walking distance) for $100 pesos you can hold a baby tiger...loved it! Kids club was wonderful, my 5 year old daughter really liked it. No sickness at all.

Mismaloya is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the area, we met some wonderful locals. The rooms were quite nice, comfortable, large, nice balcony, good air con, clean. The food was dismal, just awful, this was really the low point of the hotel. Great bloody mary's though, beer was plentiful. Pool was lovely, grounds were well kept. The highlight for us was the restaurant next door. Ofeilia made a beautiful margarita, the food was pretty cheap and delish. Had some wonderful langosta there- thanx for saving our holiday Ofeilia!!!!!!
