Aventura Spa Palace Honeymoon

Our honeymoon with Aventura Spa Palace was wonderfull. Everyone their was very friendly, the service was way beyond our expectations, they really go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home and welcome. The only thing that was a down fall was that they did not have a beach that you could go in. You have an excellent view of the ocean and can walk up to it, but cannot go in it. There's not actually a beach part with sand, it's jus kind of like rocks and there's an ocean, no swimming allowed. They do have a lagoon area thought that comes off of the beach that you can go in if you don't mind the fish swimming around you. The pools are wonderful. Its just a beautiful place and we would recommend it to anyone.

Love the Palace

We stayed at the Aventura Spa Palace in October, 2009. We were there for our friends wedding. This was a perfect time to be at the resort. It was as if the thirty or so people there for the wedding were the only ones at the resort, it was empty. The restaurants, spa and fitness center, and bars were amazing. We also used the shuttle service to go into Playa del Carmen for shopping with no problems. Everything was perfect and we would definitely go back.

Aventura Spa Exceeded our Expectations

From the friendly and helpful staff, to the wonderful side excursions, Aventura Spa and Resort gave us a most amazing tropical vacation. We enjoyed relaxing by the pools, jogging on the resort property, dining in the various restaurants and enjoying a delightful massage in your spa. The facilities are wonderful, but the staff is the BEST! Absolutely would recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Nice Place for Couples

It was a great place to go if you are with a couple, but not if your going with family, its peaceful and relaxing place. A little too expensive but the rooms are georgeous and the scenes are beautiful, def would go there again, but I would take my girlfriend or wife.

Beautiful Resort. Great service. No beach

I really like the resort. It's very big. The people were very nice and very friendly. They have hotel credit that you can use at the spa and on excursions. If you want to go on excursions, make sure you schedule them before you get to cancun because they get filled fast. We were not able to go on an excursion that we wanted because it was all filled before we even got there. Snorkeling in the lagoon was cool. The only thing that I would make the resort perfect would be if they had a beach. Loved it an I would go again.

Great Resort

This was my first trip to Mexico and loved everything about it. Great food, pools, beach, activities, area. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The Palace resorts are great because they include sooo much. We want to go back badly, most likely to another Palace resort

Awesome vacation!!

My husband and I decided to go to Aventura Spa Palace (ASP) in Riviera Maya for our honeymoon. We wanted to go someplace warm and all inclusive. ASP looked gorgeous from the pics and offered everything we wanted. We went in the very end of November 2009. After booking our trip, we mentioned to a few friends where we were staying, and they had stayed there, as well. They had nothing but great things to say about the resort - which affirmed to us that we made a good choice! When we arrived at the resort, we were greeting with a glass or champagne and a flower - before we even checked in! The check-in process was painless - we grabbed our drinks and were brought to our room in a golf cart. The room was absolutely gorgeous - hammock on the balcony, stocked fridge, liqour dispenser - and really nice bath products. We were IN heaven! In the midst of our craziness, we ended up locking our valuables in the safe - and forgot the combo we just programmed in. We called the front desk, and they sent two nice gentleman to our room within minutes. Seriously - the customer service at this place is awesome!! The restaurants were all good - great service. We didn't need to make any reservations and didn't have to wait for a table. Random story, my girlfriend who went to ASP a few years back was raving about this soup she had a the italian restaurant. When I looked for it on the menu, the waiter kindly explained that they change their menu frequently and aren't currently serving that particular soup. I ordered a different one - no big deal. A few minutes later, the waiter came out with the soup that my girlfriend had 2 years prior - they were able to whip some up just for me!!! That waiter got a big tip! The pools are very nice. Lounge chairs are comfy and there's usually always a waiter around to take your drink order. The only downfall was that there isn't a beach here. There is a man-made lagoon with ocean life that you can snorkel in - and that was good enough for me! I'm a pool chick, anyways. The employees there are super fun - hosting volleyball, water aerobics, food demonstrations - and other fun games throughout the day. My hubby and I got to know all of the employees around the pool by name and as soon as they saw us coming, they'd start making our drinks of choice. They also offer these daily excursions - free of charege. We went ziplining and met some really nice people! One afternoon we took a cab to Playa Del Carmen. We shopped, we ate...we did it all. As you may or may not know, if you stay at a "Palace" resort - then you can go to any Palace resort - eat at their restaurants, swim in their pools, they treat you like you're staying there. Hubby and I decided to check out the Palace resort in Playa Del Carmen and OMG....it was awesome! A bit smaller than ASP - but we had the best time. There's an awesome poolside bar and we just happen to be the only people there at the time. Let's just say that the bartender was happy to see us and showed us ALL the awesome shots he knew how to make!! We had an awesome time - I'm sure all the Palace resorts are fabulous! Geezz.....as I'm writing this, I'm soooo badly wanting to go back! Hubby and I would absolutely, 100% recommend the Aventura Spa Palace to anyone! It was a perfect honeymoon spot for us and I hope we'll be back!

Good first experience

The resort was very nice. The only bummer is that you have to travel to one of the other Palace resorts to go on a beach. At Aventura you can see, hear and smell the ocean but the wave wall blocks any way to get to the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Prices for upgrading wine and such was pretty expensive but everything else was great.
