PARADISE at Aventura Palace

OMG! We just got back from our honeymoon and all I can say is WOW! I actually CRIED knowing I had to leave the place! There is not ONE thing I can say bad about the Palace Resort. What we thought was going to be a "downside" was that CheapCarribean had us booked in the Cove portion of the resort - which is for families. We didn't know there was a difference between the Spa side (adults only) and the Cove side (families only). HOWEVER, none of this mattered ONE bit! BOTH sides are incredible and have SOOOOOOOO much to offer! Friends that we made had the same exact room on the Spa side as we did on the Cove side. And, amazingly, the Cove side had the nightclub in which we spent several nights dancing ourselves into a frenzy! The food was DELISH everywhere we went. The Spa services were INCREDIBLE to say the least. The grounds were SPOTLESS. The service and kindness - AMAZING to say the least. I want to go back NOW! The caveats: If you book in the Cove side, and you have children, they are not permitted on the Spa side...which limits your dining choices unless you have a babysitter. AND, if you like beaches, you don't get one at the Palace - you DO however get to snorkel and kayak in the coves (we're not beach people so this did not bother us in the least). Other than that - have a GREAT trip in paradise!

A Great Experience!

After staying at a low-end all-inclusive resort last time, we wanted something first rate, and Aventura Cove Palace was it! The property is beautiful, and the grounds and buildings are immaculate. I have the same comments as others about the weird jaccuzzi tub in the middle of the room, not a lot of storage space in the room and that there is a lagoon instead of a white sand beach, but we knew that all ahead of time. We were amazed at the quality of the food and the friendliness/ attentiveness of the service. How can you beat 24-hour free room service? The resort credit was also a huge plus, and we ended up using it to get upgraded to an ocean view room, and still had enough left to book three excursions for four people! The rooms were very clean and had all of the best amenities. The pool was absolutely stunning, with plenty of chaise lounges, palapas and shade for everyone. And poolside cocktail service! The entertainment was also fabulous...we were expecting cheesy, but all of the shows we say were top-notch. We would definitely go again!
