It looks much better on picture .Its not smoke free resort , people were smoking inside, outside, everywhere.Food is overpriced and awfull , you pay for gratuity upfront but waiters obviously wanted tips also, so everytime we went we had to leave more tips cause we felt bad for them.It could be great resort if people were friendlier and there were more food options, if someone is on the budget.

Awesome hotel, but rooms aren't that great. Don't order the Carmines Chianti wine at Carmines restaurant. Not only is it terrible, but they charge more by the bottle than the glass.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We went horseback riding, on bubble subs, dolphin encounter, and spent a day at the Paradise island water park. The price for the extra excursions is high but worth it. The price of food is high, spent $10 for breakfast sandwich and $3.50 for a can of soda so be prepared. Most places on the resort only take credit card, no cash and we found some places that did not take Discover. Most places automatically add in a tip for food. Make reservations before your trip for dinner each evening for the upscale places and excursions. The cheapest way to get from the airport to the resort is a towncar, about $50 total whereas the bus is $75 per person. Royal tower is closest to the water park. Coral tower is walkable but will take about 15 minutes.

We always have a great time when we stay at Atlantis. It's got something to offer everyone, and because we aren't really pool people, we really enjoy the beautiful beaches. The spa is wonderful and the kids have plenty to do as well. Definitely recommend!
