First off, the booking for this trip was so easy and user-friendly! I would definitely use Cheap Caribbean again! I had been to the Dominican Republic before but never stayed on the Cap Cana side of the island. The reviews for this resort all said it was a quieter, very relaxed resort and I would have to agree. There was still plenty to do, with daily activities and a great entertainment staff, but overall it was a wonderfully relaxing vacation. We did not leave the resort while we were there but there were options to take shuttles to another beach close by as well as shopping areas. The food was pretty good but we were only there for 5 days and we did end up repeating on restaurants. The rooms were clean and the check in was super easy. We felt very safe and had no issues with the staff. I would absolutely go back!!
The resort is beautiful from the rooms and pool and beach. The only bad part is that the service is very poor. I stood there in August for 6 days with my kids and I didn't have air conditioning for all those days. We complain and they will send somebody to fix it and it was not working they didn't even offer me another room no apologies nothing. I will always ask for a manager and they will tell me his not here. The food is very bad the buffet nothing good we would go eat by the beach restaurant that was the only good food but is not open all day. They don't have no activies at all no shows. I been to Punta Cana a few times and pay less in another resort and they had better activities for kids and adult the food was 100% better. They just need better service the rooms are cheap and to serve better food more variety. This resort is not for kids they don't have nothing to do at all.
This was one of our best vacations ever. The resort is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. No waiting in lines or searching for lounge chairs at the pool or beach. Entertainment was fun (thank you Crazy Boy) and the evening shows were awesome. The chef went beyond the call and treated us to a private dinner in the wine cellar. Absolutely wonderful. Rafael was one of the best bartenders we've ever met. He tended the buffet bar and upstairs bar at the lobby. Julie was so sweet and took care of our seating. Elba and Santa worked very hard waiting tables around the bar and beach areas...always with a smile. The downside was not having a "real" beach. Even taking the shuttle to Juanillo Beach was not that great. We like to walk the beach and this was very small. No big rolling ocean waves that we are used to playing in. And it was quite expensive to eat and drink there. Back to the resort, the buffets were very limited. Good food, but not much of a selection. Four restaurants were really two that changed themes every other night. So, how could this be one of our favorite vacations? Before making our reservations, we knew it was small, and no beach, and we chose that. It was still beautiful, the people absolutely awesome, and our rooms were gorgeous. Relaxing, quiet, yet fun and upbeat. Ricco took amazing pictures, too!
This was my first time my boyfriend and I ever stayed at an all inclusive resort but it was a great experience. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. I was also greeted with a drink as soon as I arrived which is always a plus lol. The food options were great. The whole snapper, beef tenderloin and club sandwich were my favorites. There were lots of activities throughout the hotel daily which was a good way to keep you busy and to stay on the resort. Kelvin made the best drinks. He works inside the bar in the lobby awesome passion fruit margaritas. Alexander Lopez was a really great asset to the hotel. He was helpful with everything. Anything you needed he was able to Help you with. Juan at the poolside bar was also another great guy who always kept the party going. Not to mention he made great drinks also. Ask him for the mama Juan shot it was awesome. Overall my experience was great besides the mosquitos so make sure you have off at all times. I'm looking forward to making another trip to this resort. Beach is not bug but the resort makes up for it in other areas. I spent most of my time by the pool and also the pool outside my room. Definitely would recommend to anyone. I give it 5 stars.
We have a wonderful time at Alsol Tiara to celebrate my Mom's 75th birthday. The resort is beautiful and the people were so accommodating and helpful. I plan on taking my teenage daughters and husband back to this resort in D.R. Very relaxing vacation.
The resort itself was not portrayed as what it was. They messed up on our rooms when we checked in and come to find out the messed up on 3 other guests rooms as well. They provide you with a credit that forces you to get a room upgrade (which isn't fair). The food was horrible, the activities were not good either. We ordered room service and that was horrible as well. The rooms are decent, but not enough for what we paid. We met 2 servers on our last night and they were amazing. They really were the highlight of the trip, but overall I would not recommend this resort.
The trip was excellent from amstar finding me taking out of the airport to directly to my taxi. Walked into lobby greeted by friendly glass of champagne to some one taking luggage to my room. Room was clean daily and sand was swept and mopped out. Bed was soft and cozy. The shower was large and delightful. Water falling from about 9 to 10 feet down, it was a overhead shower. The lobby was cool and courteous. The meals were always excellent. The pool was spotless and bar under the walk, by the pool was full. The restaurant by ocean was excellent and bar was friendly. The morning coffee shop was excellent. Now u may wonder why my value was just good I decided late to work. So make your mind up early and staff weather will make the rest happen.
Stayed at the Alsol Tiara Cap Cana about 2 weeks ago. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. It exceeded our expectations. The staff is wonderful; I would give their attitude and smiles a five star. It is a modern hotel, very design, new and a contemporary décor with soul. We had a swim out room and highly recommend it. But for us, the highlight was having a Nespresso Machine in our room. Sounds crazy but for coffee lovers it is a huge plus. Yes the beach small and yes the food is modest but if you prefer a more personal vibe and ambiance, this is the one to choose. I will go back.
Alsol Tiara is beautiful!!! The pictures online are exactly how the resort looks when you arrive. The hotel staff is great and very friendly, rooms are clean, and food is excellent. The resort is a little quiet so if you are looking to party every night this may not be the best resort to visit. Other than that no complaints!!
Service was amazing and the room was beautiful. Beach is very small and you can not walk down the beach there. But they do shuttle you to San Jaun Beach for no charge where you can walk the beach. Entertainment at night was not the greatest, circus act was great, but magic show was lame. Food choices were okay, they Japanese was our favorite and the Steak house at Luxury was also very good. Their was a restaurant at the Luxury that we paid $20 for, and was not worth the money. Only can have one beverage and have to pay for bottled water there. Menu was similar to the all inclusive steak house. Over all stay was very very nice.
